Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment and preserve battery life. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. I would recommend this to a friendDescent camera, not great:

The cameras do display a good picture when the signal is strong however, depending on the placement of cameras the farther away from router the slower the signal to respond. Also the batteries must be fully charged before you can set up cameras and this takes a very long time, almost 8 or 9 hours. Not to mention they seem to run down pretty fast and a back up battery cost an additional $30.00.
