Great camera and very easy to install , nice picture

I needed another camera for behind the house but I didn't want a floodlight version. This compact Ring camera was perfect for my particular use case. Very impressed with the brightness of the LEDs on this thing. I had absolutely no issues setting it up at all.

I have owned several RING products and the Wired cam represents all there is to like about RING. Simple to install, no batteries to replace and easily connects to your home internet. The light is very strong for the size and a good deterrent for possible thieves. I have this over my garage and it covers an area of 50x50’ no problem.

This camera was purchased and installed on above the garage area to cover the driveway area. Picture is clear and motion alerts are suppressed to only notify when motion is detected in the areas needed. I am very pleased so far with this purchase and a great addition to the ring cameras I already have. Would highly recommend.

Easy to install; bright spotlight and camera takes great videos

I purchased a Ring door bell earlier this year and bought the spotlight camera to replace a low-tech camera over the garage. I read reviews about it’s a huge battery suck so I purchased a solar panel for it. Well I installed it 2 weeks ago and my battery is at about 75% so I haven’t pulled the solar panel out of the box yet.

Ring cams have excellant picture. Connected to my phone very quickly. Tech Support is very good. They answered my questions very professionaly and were very helpful. If you have a large house, prepare to buy an extender. Glad I bought it. They have the ability to listen and talk to people on the camera. Nice feature.

I had to get an electrician to come and install it because I didn't want to plug it in but use an existing outlet, but after it was installed it was easy to customize the area that it would activate the camera which was important because at first every car driving by would set it off. The quality of the camera is very clear.

Works well. Prepare to run the electrical cord though if you don’t feel like setting up the solar panel or if you place it high to where you can’t change/charge the battery though. The light is brighter than I thought it would be. Not as bright as the Ring flood camera, but still effective.

We used the wired Ring spotlight cam because we didn’t want to climb a ladder to change the batteries. The Ring products give an excellent picture and the spotlight is bright enough to make out people’s faces. Also you can hear and talk to intruders. I feel this was a good investment for our home security.
