Great quality camera. Easy to install. The built-in voice prompts tell you exactly what to do to set up the camera when using the app. Automatic software updates and tons of programmable options for motion-sensing, notifications, floodlight auto-on, and siren. Built-in mic and speaker allow you to listen in on what the camera is monitoring and/or speak to someone at the camera's location. This is the hardwired version so electricity and a junction box are required for installation.

This company is not trustworthy! I spoke to a representative to inquire about the security cameras that I could have installed under an eave and was told that the Ring Floodlight Cam would work. Therefore, I waited until Black Friday to purchase so that I could take advantage of the great deals that were out at the time. I was able to buy it for $50.00 less with a free echo dot, YAAAY!!! But hold on, we hired a professional electrician to come out and do the install and was informed that it will not be able to be installed underneath an eave as we were told by a Ring Representative. Called back in and spoke to another rep to explain my situation for them to say that no it will not work but the spotlight cam mount would be our best option since our desire was to have it hardwired. Therefore, we had to return for an exchange from Best Buy. Unfortunately, this product cost $50.00 more for less lighting and I had to end up paying for the Alexa dot that was in the package deal at the time of original purchase which now costed me $282.06 for the exchange. After I arrived home, I contacted Ring to explain to them what their Representative costed me by delivering the wrong information and Dillon (Ring Rep) replied that there was nothing that he could do and continued to insinuate that I wanted to be reimbursed or given a free device when I asked for neither. The customer service is very poor in my opinion which left me with a dreadful experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this company. Besides, after watching YouTube there are a variety of products on the market that are much better for much less. I’m sure that’s why this product has such poor reviews as well as low end customer service.

I had wires run to the area of my house specifically for the video camera. The install wasn’t too bad, but found the basic ring instructions weren’t as easy for this as the doorbell. Would recommend a quick YouTube video if it’s your first time. Overall got it installed in about an hour. Pros: - Does a great job covering a lot of area. I actually had to lower the detection area because it could cover so much. Also love the spotlight that comes on at night when motion is detected. - Multiple ways to install the camera. I have it under the eave of my house which is at an angle, and was worried about mounting it to work properly. Ring gives you 3 different brackets and he no problem making it sit how I needed. Cons: - Has just OKAY quality. It’s usually pretty clear, but can get grainy when zooming in. I have the Ring Doorbell Pro 2 and this is definitely lacking compared to it. - I struggled getting the security screw to actually hold it in place. Also ended up needing to grab some bigger screws to secure it into the house siding, as the screws Ring provided were too small. These could be issues specially to me though, so not dinging Ring on that as much as just making it aware. - Feel like it’s a little pricey, but if you’re wanting to hardware in without cables or deal with batteries, then I think this is the best route currently.

This is one of my favorite Ring cams in the bunch, and I've used most of them. Something about that good ol' 120v direct connection and not dealing with transformers or what not is nice. Didn't need the full floodlight application as this area was well lit, so preferred the more subtle/hidden look this provides. Also nice is the floodlight aspect is completely disableable in the software too -- although I'm hoping they add the ability to activate it only during certain (super late) hours. It would provide a better balance between irritating off your neighbors whenever a cat (or deer) walks by at dusk/dawn and fully enabling in the wee hours when you want full security. Maybe soon. The nice thing is Ring has continued to innovate and nearly everything is software enabled to let them do so. Also hoping for the future to bring 4k sensors for better digital zooming clarity but otherwise the 1080 HD is excellent quality and I try to remind folks that the app compresses the video a bunch for speed and use but if you do have any security issues that downloading the video will provide maximum clarity for the authorities and such in that subsequent MP4.

Pros: -The Spotlight Cam is easy to install. If you already own a Ring Doorbell or Floodlight cam the install is very similar. -Multiple security cameras can be linked together so detected motion at one camera can activate other cameras. Cons: -Ring products are pricey. -Adjusting motion zones and sensitivity can be tedious to avoid false alerts.

Great field of view. Clear picture in all lighting. Picks up strong wifi signal, so no connectivity issues. Easy install and set up.

Not a bad security camera, has many functions and preferred settings to your comfort. Many pluses with only a few drawbacks. Motion light doesn't shut off when motion is detected when camera is in disable mode. The security siren is not impressive. When activated, sounds quieter than a car horn. All this said, the cam is worth the investment for added protection to your home.

I bought 2 of these cameras. One for the front and one for the back of my home. It was so easy to install & program. No wires to run, just simply screw it into the area where you would like to install the camera then program the camera in5 minutes or less, so simple. The quality is outrageous! The 1080p quality video is incredible. I highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a high quality, wireless, easy to install and program surveillance camera.

Provides good range of view. I have had the product installed for about a little over a month. The camera works as described. The video and audio is clear. I just finished the trial period for the ring pro. You have to bank at spending at least $10/month to see recorded video for multiple cameras. Otherwise, you limited to live view only. Only suggestion I have for Ring is to make it easier to search for a specific recording.

This is a nice security camera which is the “hard wired” modeled. It’s perfect for use in a smaller area needing surveillance. The security camera is very easy to install and set up. Video is excellent, but audio can be a problem depending on surrounding conditions. Overall it’s still a nice product.

Very good, works well in nighttime recording. I will be buying more for my house.

Works great but our backyard is 70ftx70ft and not all of our backyard is covered with this radius. it hits the most important areas but I wish it went out to the fence. In the evening, the image can be splotchy even with the spotlight. Also, the wifi range for the internet may not work for all homes. Sometimes we encounter a weak connection. I recommend this product for the price and app ease of use but research what your needs are before installing.

Works perfectly! After charging the battery overnight, I had the camera mounted and connected to my WiFi network in about 30 minutes. The Ring Ap made it easy to establish motion zones from my iPhone. Great picture quality!

Love how well this camera works, it also has a way for you to customize it which is great. It does exactly what I expected it to do. I actually waited until it was on sale and got a great deal. I might actually get another one later.

I love camera Ring i already have one. I just purchased a new one but got the wrong one. Will go back to get the correct one. Best cameras

Great security and lighting! Real easy to install. Just make sure that you have a deep junction electrical box for the adapter to fit in. Love the ring products.

This cam is an excellent choice if you are looking for a outdoor cam. It’s a do it yourself installation and setup, with superb voice and video.

Easy to install and set up. The night vision camera has very clear images. The light replaced a traditional light outside a back door and looks fine. Happy with the purchase.
