Good Starter Kit

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything inside of the kit works seamlessly and set up was a breeze, but Ring and or Best Buy doesn't do a very good job at differentiating the doorbell camera models from the others. Or I should say highlight important differences that matter to the consumer rather than marketable differences. But to their point everything arrived as stated and worked more or less exactly how it was described to work. The doorbell camera however doesn't come with an angle mount with this kit and the indoor cam is very lightweight and may desire a longer cord for certain applications. However for my application the indoor camera is perfect for my uses for monitoring back exits and the dog while away from home. And the doorbell cam, even with the angle restriction works well for guest that are Supposed to be there. The app is easy to connect multiple family members to the cameras so they have access, and has truly saved me mountains of stress and anxiety. My only real recommendations lie in spring for the more expensive doorcam. I also don't like how many feature are locked behind a pay wall. I understand for much more afford pieces of hardware, but I wouldn't call this cheap in terms of cost. The materials used are what you wouldn't find in a product of this price point that's this popular, but given much more time to research and a longer window for when I needed it, I definitely would have chosen differently, even if still part of the Ring product line. HOWEVER, if you just want to see when people arrive at your home and don't have any anxiety of NEEDDing it for security purposes, Id ABSOLUTELY recommend this for that purpose.

It sounds like you are missing some of the parts that you need to properly set up your device. The Ring Battery Doorbell include mounting screws and anchors designed for various surfaces, including masonry and concrete. When installing on a masonry surface, start by using the marked screw hole locations to drill pilot holes with a 6 mm drill bit. Once the holes are ready, insert the included wall anchors to ensure a secure and stable fit. Here is a list of what comes in the box with the Ring Battery Doorbell:
