I bought these cameras a while back when setting up my Ring security system. While I enjoy the Ring operating system and it's features, I much prefer the other camera options by Ring. These Stick-up cameras didn't fare well with installation to walls and ceilings and may be best used for tabletop use only. I returned these and bought the motion, lighted cameras and have been completely satisfied since.

not all that good for night clarity and I wish it would record longer than 30 sec without having to run to hit "live view" to catch more footage

We replaced this camera and Ring doorbell system with the Nest camera/doorbell system. Nest is a much better system.

It was good for clarity and a sense of security but required more charging and maintenance than I expected.

Good video but uses battery power to fast. Other Ring products are more efficient with battery useage

This is good but could be better. There's a 10 second delay before the sound kicks in.

Quality needs work. Audio is not good. Every thing else seems to be fine.

This camera is perfect for the basement and is very easy to set up.

The alarm system is fabulous but the camera needs tweaking

It was easy to install and activate, however after the first few videos it started only taking black and white snapshots and then the recordings started to have no video at all. The infrared motion detector works great, but no video.

Constant glitches and connection issues. Ring doesn't care. I would never recommend their products!

Wish I didn’t purchase this and went with Nest the camera is very delayed. Battery doesn’t last but 3 weeks. Very much a hassle

My only complaint is that it only records for 21 seconds at a time and then takes another 30 seconds to reset. Caught a guy coming up. Then ...........NOTHING!

If you are looking to purchase this you will need to buy at least one other battery to have for back up because the battery lasts about five days if you constantly watch the recordings and stuff. The picture quality isn’t the greatest either. To me it honestly isn’t worth what i pay.

I have the hardwired ring pro which works great. The battery operated camera only records about 3 seconds of video. I bought it for my parents as a gift. I know their customer support was great for me, but so far the issue has not been resolved.

I returned ir. It only detect motion if you get close to it. Total waste of money!

You cannot shut this thing off! You can only turn off notifications, but it will still record motion. So if you want one inside your home, you will always be recorded. Not good, plus battery life will be shortened. Not good again

This device does not work with Orbi or mesh routers. Do not buy this go with Arlo or Panasonic hawk. It will work until the 2 week return period end and you will lose 200$. Do not buy

I receive delayed alerts, but when I check the video there is nothing there. I walk to the mailbox, back my car out my driveway, and walk in front of the door. The video does not capture anything. It only shows if I’m viewing it Live during the action.
