Easy to install, operate, very handy. Adds a level of safety to opening the front door. Great product.

Overall, not displeased with the doorbell. The newer versions certainly have a better picture, but that comes with some cost. Would recommend for someone looking for a cost effective solution and not concerned as much with the video quality. Pretty easy to install. Make sure you have a good 2.4ghz WiFi signal, this does not support 5ghz signals.

I bought this item for my mother-in-law and she loves it. She's mildly handicap and she's unable to walk at a fast pace so she uses the doorbell camera a lot.

After multiple break ins around my town I wanted to feel better and have more eyes watching my home and this does a fantastic job. The area this covers on my front porch is amazing.

We love our ring doorbell; however, be cautious of the doorbell chime. Before purchasing, confirm that you doorbell is compatible. We did not do this and now we have two doorbells.

I wanted a motion activated camera (cloud for $3/mo). No brainer. Now I can ignore the boy and girl scouts when they push their overpriced cookies. ROI should be in the one year or less timeframe.

Set up and installation was straight forward. The ring is a protector, a doorman and most of all a peace of mind when not at home to answer and keep an eye on thing with live view.

Its pretty good. If anything there is a slite dealy but works great. Just an FYI you may need to buy the chime. I've been having issue connecting the doorbell to ring with it.

This doorbell was price led just right at $99, and didn’t disappoint. Works just as it should and has no problem detecting motion when it’s there. Great buy.

I have learned to not like this video doorbell. First it is on my front door which opens to my living room. My Comcast router is in the living room 15 feet from the doorbell but the doorbell has issues connecting to live view due to WiFi connection issues. All my other devices has excellent connections inside and outside of my home. I called ring who then sent me a free ring WiFi extender which seemed to help but did not completely solve the live view connection issues. I just added a ring wedge in an attempt to be able to extend the doorbells sensitivity without all the false alarms and now it will no longer recognize being hardwired. Prior to adding the wedge it was hardwired but after adding the wedge kit it only recognizes the battery. Emailed ring again, reset the device, used a multimeter to insure I had the correct voltage and still changed wires again checked voltage again and still will not recognize being hardwired. On a positive note the wedge did correct the false alarms.

I like this camera but I’m returning it and getting the Ring doorbell Version 2. Great performance as far as motion detection. Video capturing is great to. Love the 2-way communication. Just poor battery. Don’t buy if your not the handy type as removing it from mount is required to install it.
