WhenI first bought it, I did it for an extra layer of security, now with that being said, it is amazing to just being able to see who is outside your door by looking at your echo devices as well as being able to see the recordings to see if your packages were delivered or if my dogs are in fact running the patio.

The product is giving me more than I expected. It gives me daily reports on suspected crime in my neighborhood. It allows me and my husband to answer door and response.

Great picture on the camera. Needs a charge about once a month.

The APP was very easy to set up. Have good features and video.

Set up and installation were not very difficult. The camera quality is pretty low though. Spend the money and get the better quality camera model.

The Ring Video Doorbell works great! It does have a 180 degree view and records people coming to your door. It also has a feature you can talk to the person at your door when you're not home. It is easy to install. One inconvenience is you need to charge the battery inside the device about once a month to keep it working.

Greatest ever. Works well with chime and alexa/echo dot. Nice camera. Great for signing in and linking with neighbors to see what's going on in your neighborhood such as strangers etc. I was able to view my door area, drive way, front uaed and up to my neighbor front door. If linked to echo dot, it will aleeer you when vehicles approach tour home such as passing by.

Night vision is good, daylight vision is worse as far as glare. My front door is shaded so video during the day is great but if subject is off the porch in the sun they are washed out. Response time from motion detected to notification to seeing video needs to be faster but this unit is still useful. This unit could be better but it does what I want.

I was so relieved to get this Ring doorbell. It saved me a lot of money because I was previously with an alarm company. The camera is 720p it is clear but not as crisp as the 1080p prices at 199.99. However, the price of 99.99 was a remarkable price. Not to mention a company that values customer service. This was an awesome purchase. I just need Ring to add more features.

Bought this doorbell best thing i bought in a long time bought chimepro for better wifi great customer service still shaking my head why i didnt buy this thing sooner!

Had the Zmodo and replaced with the Ring. Really like the look of the device. Set up and install was very easy. If mounting onto brick front, I recommend anchoring to the mortar between the bricks even if you have to make your own holes in the bracket. The downside of the unit is the monthly subscription to view past events. It should at least allow a 24 hour review for free.

I absolutely love this doorbell.. its like caller ID for the door. And it always seems like I am home which is a good idea these days.

I've had it for a few weeks now and I love it. Especially with the holidays and sales I've been able to monitor packages coming in and going out.

I absolutely love this door bell. I can answer the door from anywhere, work, store, in the car. I receive a tone to say someone is at the door, even if they just walk by, like the mailman. I can see everyone coming and going. I receive a different tone if they ring the bell and I can talk to them like I am right in my house! It is a little sensitive, like sometimes I get a notification if a car goes by, but I don't mind.

This is one of those products that really make a difference in your home when it comes to convenience. You can always see if someone is at the door, and talk to them.

the ring is a great little gadget to see who wanders to your front door at any time of day. the software is easy to use, the hardware isn't the best design, mine stopped ringing my doorbell. the "social" aspect of the app is a little annoying because it makes many assumptions and I notice a lot of racial profiling on it. I still would recommend it
