For better use of equipment a account setup is needed. $3 a month for recorded feeds. Also placement is very important. Front facing door bell needed for wired setup. Ours was not, so it is mounted on the door. Long battery life which is a plus for this setup back. Down side our yard has very little shade and glares all the time. And on cloudy days when the sunlight moves in and out cloud cover it will go off. Motion sensor based on temp. Body heat/ cars passing by will have same effect. But range can be changed.

Like the fact I know who is in my yard. I put one in the front and back and now I know who is at my house. I have not used the talking feature yet but like that it is there.

Love it!! Our house was broken into several years ago so this gadget is great and we love to be able to see who is at are door when we are not home and the quality of the camera is pretty good.

Would say this is a great product and works just a described. Easy to install and only knock on it would be the senstivity of the mention detection being too great. Other than that so far great product.

It's a good product , but I returned it and planning to buy the pro instead . This one is a little big and runs on battery.

I have has numerous issues with video. I did get a replacement and that seemed to fix the problems for a while. Lots of times, I get the alert about motion but the video started so late you just catch the end. I can walk up and open the front door before I get the notification and I just barely see me as the door is closing behind me. Also has issues with no video at times and it needs to be reset to fix it which is basically like a re-install.

It's nice to be able to see activity at the front of my house. I've installed this at my vacation home and I really have a much better sense of security knowing what's happening when I'm not there!

Great price point for the entry level Ring doorbell. Using at the back door for extended coverage. Though lower resolution than other models, it’s a good choice for secondary doors.

Love this doorbell. Easy to install. Easy to set up. A little bit of a video delay, but still good. Only hiccup is the cloud storage. 3$ per month per device. No option for me to store on my drive.

For the money, you really cant beat this. The features it has are awesome for the price, and the set up was very easy. Must buy if youre in the market for something like this.

Before I installed ring I couldn’t hear when some ring my doorbell. Now I can see who is ringing the speak with them without having to go to the door.

It works as it's supposed to and being able to communicate with the person ringing the bell while I'm elsewhere is definitely a plus. It's also very easy to install.

Set up was easy, customer service is super helpful and explain things easily enough for people to understand. The picture quality on the camera is great.

The Ring doorbell works great as described and has created a safer front door lookout for me and my husband. The neighborhood option is great also while reporting any unwanted visitors.

I just installed this a few days ago, and it seems to work great. I knew exactly when the mailman came yesterday afternoon! I had to relocate my router and purchase the Ring Chime/Range Extender to make it work right, all was easy to install. I'm still working out the proper range as I'm getting alerts for cars driving by and people just walking down the sidewalk. Once I get that figured out I'll leave it on all night. For now though I don't want it waking me up at 3am for a car driving by. I'm interested in the sticky cam or spotlight cam, if I can get a deal on it like the one I got for the Ring Doorbell. Come on Best Buy, put THOSE on sale already!

Video quality good. Setup can be a little challenging, but once setup it works good. Easy to connect with other smart home systems.

Loving my rings feeling safe. The ring is a must. I love that We can review all of our neighbors postings and and able to see. We have 3 rings installed in our home

I have purchased this model for others that come over to my home and talk about how neat it is to see someone at the front door. This is a great first time doorbell option.
