Ring doorbell-everyone needs one along with a weapon to back it up. Lock your doors people.

The motion detection either responds to absolutely everything (people, cars, cats, moths, wind blowing...) or almost nothing, including people walking right by it or blowing leaves literally 1 foot away. There seems to be no way to control it in between those two extremes. And despite apparently years of people complaining about it, there is no way to adjust the exposure on the camera. This has to be the only camera on the planet that has no exposure control, but apparently that's ok with Ring because they haven't done anything about it. So even when the doorbell was capturing motion all it recorded was a giant white spot because of the extreme over exposure of the sunlight. And it wasn't even facing the sun. Pathetic. The only good thing about it is that it hooked up to wifi without any problem and it communicated well via wifi; that's the only reason for 2 stars. Two days was enough for me for it, hopefully you have better luck than I did.

This device failed expected performance. Live video did not work. Item failed during rainy and chilly weather.
