What a great video surveillance of my home. Cheap and easy to install. great battery life!

This device is a waste of time and money. If you want to catch a thief. This isnt the right device. My sons bike got stolen right in front of our house. The motion sensor didnt catch any of it. They cut the lock and it was gone. I had motion senser to the end of sidewalk and video recording. The customer service thru the ring producs is horrible. They will only try to trouble shoot the issue. Then try agian. They wont refund you if you dont buy from them directly. Even if there product is false advertisement. Thank goodness best buy still helped me and gave me in store credit. Thanks best buy for taking this waste of product off my hands.

Video is not very clear. Up close you can recognize people you know. I would recommend trying the Ring 2. Video quality might be better. Ring 2 also comes with a wedge kit I’ve heard. I had to spend another $20 for a wedge kit for my Ring doorbell to change angle so it doesn’t pick up every car going by.

Good to have some eyes in front of your house to keep track of everyone who approaches

Perfect item to use for your home, Ring has been very useful for us when we are away from home.

Overall, it's a very innovative device. However, once set up with your wireless router and the base plate attached to your outside wall, attaching the camera/door bell button to the base plate is very difficult. In trying to mount the camera unit, it popped out of my hand and dropped on our welcome mat. Good bye $200. Be sure to get the extended warranty.

Even away from home, I know who is at my door! I like that I can speak with visitors without being home.
