The camera resolution is good but slow to pick up.

Bought a gift for a mother in law. Worked good at first with a little bit of lag, due to it being being battery powered and slightly underpowered internals. If you have the money, I would instead opt for the ring doorbell pro which requires wiring, but is much faster and more dependable since it doesn’t rely on batteries and also comes with different face plates to match your facade. This one is only a single colored plate so make sure you know which one you are purchasing. Overall it is just ok.

We love it. Have notification on all our computers and phones. Gives a sense of security. Great to know that a package was delivered and by whom. Was easy to install and setup...

Installed this on my back door. The resolution could be better. I installed the external power supply hoping the video would improve. It is good enough, but not as good as I expected

This doorbell is made to force you to buy the subscription. I decided against the subscription because I did not find value in the recording features, I really purchased this replace my traditional doorbell. I have security cameras on my front door that I record to my own server. The functionality is very limited without the subscription. There are better options for security doorbells on the market. Especially ones where you have the option of storing the video on your own hard drives.

We purchased it to help my handicapped husband who takes a long time to get up and to the door when the bell rings. He can now sit in his chair and talk with whomever is there. He can tell a delivery person where to put the items, ask a friend or neighbor to give him extra time to get there or tell a solicitor to move on. I feel a lot safer knowing who is at the door before I open it and it is great for the safety of little ones as well.. It took a little extra time and ingenuity to install on our weird aluminum siding, but we came up with a plan and it looks great and work great. We travel a lot so we can monitor who is at our door when we are gone. Love it, worth every penny. Be sure to buy it at a regular store because the company will replace it if it is stolen-not so with a warehouse or online store. Strange but true.

At time of purchase this is very good product, been using for almost 2 years and upgrade to newer products , cheap solutions for doors monitoring

This item is great, but it would be better with a new update.

I purchased the original Ring and wasn't completely happy with picture quality. I then replaced and purchased this and it exceeded what I thought it would be. Great quality and great custo.er service from Ring.

Easy to hook up and easy To use. Great investment for everyone.

We hardwired the “wireless” to avoid having to charge it. Works great. I would probably not remember to keep it charged if it was not hardwired. Love being able to see my house when I am gone

Easy installation of device and app. Love the instant notification when someone passes through the motion sensor. Would have appreciated knowing there is a cost to view the video After the first 30 days.

Product works well for me. Camera is clear, sound is clear. I was not aware that any doorbell visits were not able to be viewed after the fact unless you subscribed for an additional service. Everything works fine.

I thought this would be a great gift for someone who lives alone.
