it works most of the time sometimes a little slow on responds but overall please with purchase would recommend to a friend

I love my ring doorbell and camera. It lets me see whoever comes near my front entrance. And it also keeps me with updates in ares surrounding me.

This camera gave me peace of mind when I moved into my first home by myself. I love being able to see what is going on from home

Works great for monitoring front door, but does lose some nice functions if you choose not to subscribe monthly to their service.

I love this product I'm able to see who is at my door and if I don't feel like answering the door I don't have to BUT still able to talk to the person.

easy to install and download app to phone picks up movement at front door and driveway and really like sharing info with neighbors

Too may motion alerts; wind blows trees, cars pass, squirrels running in the yard etc.... However I a m pleased with the area the camera captures

Really like the convenience of this device. Very east to install. Directions and interfae with my Iphone is outstanding. I recommend this to anyone. Very cool device.

I really like it, the only downside it that the first gen seems to have trouble communicating the battery life

I would have preferred higher resolution, but the camera works great. Smart phone access makes it a Best Buy. I recommend getting a Ring Chime as well.

There a few kinks in the product that could use some improvement but overall satisfied. It was easy to install. Great idea and product for anyone.

great video quality; the app allows for recording, but monthly subscription is needed. After I bought the doorbell, i discovered that i also need a chime.

Its easy to install, just follow instructions and instead of opening the door to anyone, you can just look at the camera and see who it is.

Very easy to install and eliminates having to answer the door, if needed. The feature to be able to talk to someone who is at the door is wonderful.

Don't get me wrong, it does what it says but it's flawed. It's either overly sensitive or not sensitive at all, hard to find the happy spot so that every car driving by doesn't set it off. The video quality is okay. The app freezes and sometimes doesn't even load at all, out of 6 times the doorbell has been rung, I've not been able to answer a single one through the Ring app. Would only recommend if there's a great sale on it.

I’ve had this version of the ring door bell for almost 2 years now. It’s held up but the video quality and response times for notifications seem to be slowing down. I even upgraded to a Mesh Wireless router to see if I can get a Wi-Fi signal closer to the ring doorbell but that didn’t make a difference on the response time of the doorbell. Might be time to upgrade soon the the latest version.
