Not worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My neighborhood was getting reports of people stealing packages off people’s doorsteps so I decided to get the Ring and also the companion Ring product Chime. It started off pretty well and everything seemed to work fine then a few months out it started going downhill. Here are the major issues I have experienced: 1. The first issue I had was that the camera was not detecting motion at my doorstep so it wasn’t even tracking my deliveries which is what I got it for. I tried adjusting and playing around with the zones and nothing seemed to work. 2. Next there were issues with the WiFi connection so it would drop out and flat out not work. This happened on Halloween so I had to leave a big basket of candy outside. Great timing Ring. 3. The other issue is the notable lag that occurs when ringing the doorbell. I would say on average 5-10 seconds after the doorbell is pressed is when you get a notification. Sometimes people even end up calling me before it rings. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this product until they get this stuff sorted out. That or they drop the price closer to what its actually worth.

Setting up the motion detector does require a bit of maneuvering to find the sweet spot, however, we can assist you with honing these settings to make sure you receive the alerts that matter to you.
