works great very easy to install, can be notified of motion as well as rings at your door. all managed with Smart phone App.

Purchased for my mom who lives alone. Does a great job but does occasionally go off when large trucks go down the road. Clear video!

Overall, the Ring is great for what it's designed to do. However, make sure your internet upload speeds are over 2 Mbps, otherwise it won't work. I had to switch from dsl to cable to get fast enough upload speeds. Also, make sure your internet connection can reach outside your brick walls to the Ring device. That probably means your 5 GHz spectrum won't reach it. I had to spend another $20 to get a wifi range extender so it could be picked up by the Ring doorbell.

Camera works great at night which wasn't really expected but suffers a little when hit with direct sunlight.

The videos are clear and easy to view. Not always able to answer ring expediently with phone

I needed an exterior camera to monitor my kids getting home from school, so I purchased this. Where it works for what it is, the quality is junk and you can’t adjust it. The app takes a minute to load, so you usually miss whoever is there and the motion sensor catches cars driving by but misses people coming in the house. It’s nice, but kind of not great

Doesnt catch all motion outside the doorbell, my old doorbell camera was better

Works well, works better when hardwired. Was very inconvenient to have to remember to charge it.

Got this at their Black Friday sale price. Because of that, the price was exceptional. The doorbell works perfectly as long as you have good wireless signal to it. The reviews that are critical are mostly because of wireless signal strength. Also works best if it replaces a wired doorbell, otherwise you will need to manually recharge the battery by disassembling the unit and recharging. Also you need to pay $30 a year for cloud storage to be able to view your missed rings and motion alerts.

This is a great product. Let’s me see if anything is going on around the house when I’m not there
