Works great, love it!!!!!!No more surprises at door

I saw this item advertised on TV and was very interested in it. I searched for it at several locations and found that Best Buys had the best price. If installing yourself, use caution to follow instructions as it can get tricky. It is a very useful item and can be answered when you are away from home.

The ring doorbell works exactly as it says, however if you miss one of the alerts there is no recording of who you missed. So if someone stole your package off your porch, if you didn’t look at the live video as it happened you would have no record of who stole your package. When I am at work I can’t always answer the alert on my phone but during the 30 day trial period, I can see a video of each alert to someone at my door but You have to have a subscription plan the minimum one is $30 per year this is not mentioned in any of the commercials. I gave out three of these as Christmas gifts, I have no idea my gift would require a subscription plan, I understand the plan is dirt cheap $30 a year still it’s not mentioned in any of the commercials

This is a great idea to be able to see who is at your door, monitor motion outside and take a live view whenever you want. However, unless your internet and wifi can get >1mb upload speeds you will have very choppy motion and voice and connecting the live view is difficult at best. Often long delays between when doorbell is rung and notice is on the phone. Once you get notified of motion or to answer you have to open the app and then answer the bell all of which takes time. That said, the company representatives have been very helpful and friendly in assisting my connection problems, but it comes down to my internet provider speed which is <1mb upload speeds. Also, our location for the doorbell is in a covered area with a long wall abutting the doorbell and the picture is often diffiault to see with brightness issues.

The ring Video Doorbell and Camera give us a new sense of security and we actually enjoy the video capture feature. It also helps us determine if any suspicious characters have been roaming around at our front door. very happy with our purchase and installation service.

Love this camera. Such a clear picture even at night.

Picture quality is not always clear and on really cold days like below 10 degree the camera doesn't work. Also I don't like the fact that once your cloud is up after 30 days that you have to pay, they should allow you to view your camera footage 7 days without having to sign up for cloud services.

The ring is not bad. I like this unit but it has trouble connecting to my wifi at all times. If you have great internet and strong wifi it won't be a problem. but, if your internet is awful these can strain your internet a bit. Still, it's a good product.

These are great but we only got the recording function for about a month. Cant see why a memory isnt included to do the recordings, like the way my car dashcam works but then Ring wont make any money.

I love knowing who is at my door, or even in front of my house for that matter, with this installed. I can even talk to someone ringing my door while I'm at work. And I have video archive if I ever need it. I get lots of packages delivered so if anyone would decide to swipe one, it would be on video.

Doesn't work too well for me. I am upgrading my wi fi in hope that solves it

I bought the Ring doorbell, after I found out how great it works, when my boss spoke to me, via the doorbell, while he was Okinawa, Japan!! He also sent me a picture of me, while I was standing outside the office door talking to him, the next day, so it records well! I can't wait to record who comes to my house, while I'm not home!!

Easy to install and a program. Great purchase. Buy it!

I really like it, but with today's technology, I would have liked to see a better camera even at this level for clearer views. It does the job. When people first walk up they talk about it and some have seen it before and have heard what it can do. I recorded a whole conversation regarding the Ring.
