I got the ring doorbell in venetian bronze. I like that color better. For me, I think the videos are a little grainy. You have to pay an annual fee to be able to save the video recordings.

This is able to cover a very wide area. It’s quite sensitive andI appreciate the speed at which I am able to access the live view. At nights it’s a bit dark but that’s ok. I put something in place to counteract that limitation.

Have not had a chance to use it. My husband has not put it up yet. Sorry I cannot give it a better review, but I am sure I will be really happy with it. I have heard nothing but great things about it. Can’t wait to try it!

What I liked: The idea of being able to see who was at my door before I opened it. What I didn’t like: Because of all the telemarket/scam calls we receive, we operate our iphones in Do Not Disturb mode so only the people we want to talk to ring through. Well in this mode, you will not receive an audible alert from the ring when someone presses the button. I could not get the motion detection to work at all! I tried everything recommended by ring support and other user posts on the internet all to no avail.

Great doorbell I spend a lot of time upstairs and the camera lets me see who is there . The only drawback is how sensitive it is as it picks up every car that goes by on the street. Thank goodness for the great camera

Product seems great, however, there is a monthly fee which I was not aware of. Without paying the fee, you only get an audio alert of motion.....no video to review at the time of the occurrence not later.

I love my Ring Doorbell. Having the ability to not only answer someone at your front door when you are away...but the overall ability to not have to open your front door to see who is there when you are at home!!

This video doorbell by RING gives me complete control over who enters and when. It lets me control the distance of motion detection and also the area to detect. Great to avoid unnecessary motion alerts. Camera quality is perfect and audio "talk" functionality is great too.

Most of my neighbors have this product making it easier to monitor the area. The application that we use in our neighborhood allows us to get to know each other and to stay in contact of what’s happening around us.

I've had this about a year and I'm really happy with it. Occasionally it does not let me connect to the video, not sure if that is a WiFi network issue or with the device itself. But I really like having the device.

This is a great video doorbell! Works great, app is great. Follow the instructions and it will work great. Remember, before first use it has to be charged. After that if it is hard wired, it will charge that way.

Overall this was a great buy! Picture quality could be better, and the notifications can be a little much depending on tour setting and street. But I would, and have, recommended to others.

The Internet on this camera has a hard time tell the difference between the temperatures if it’s warm outside and there’s a person. It picks up cars and trucks easily not people. The distance he took the trigger on my doorbell was about 6 feet, anything longer it would not notice. We tested and work on it with technical support and finally I just returned it. I just purchased a generation two that’s supposed to be improved, I won’t get it until June 3

This video doorbell is great technology. I get alerts and video of front door activity whether when I am at home or not. The ability to communicate with front door guest is such a great touch.

Super easy to install and a nice peace of mind to have at your house. Adjusting the level was a bit difficult in terms of the sensitivity and frequency of the motion alerts but once I got the ring in the correct position it works great.

I purchased The Ring as a gift and the recipients can't thank me enough for such a great gadget. The small and slender gadget make it easy to install. Be sure the range of motion feature is within a reasonable distance otherwise you will constantly get alerts.

Really enjoy this doorbell. It works great and it’s nice to get notifications on my cell when someone rings the doorbell. One thing I didn’t like....it doesn’t come with a chime so you have to buy one to hear the doorbell ring

I purchased another ring doorbell for my child and she loves it. I had mentioned how great it is to safely check who is at your door before you open the door and she wanted it so I bought one for her too. It makes you feel safe to own one.

The Ring doorbell is a handy way to keep an eye on things when your not at home, or just don’t feel like answering the door, and if you wanna mess with your friends. If you get a lot of package deliveries, this is a must have!
