Works good excep I've always got a week wifi signal. My router is powerful and I purchased the Ring bell/wifi extender but it doesn't make that much of a difference. I guess it's because of our cinderblock walls?

Doorbell works wonders. Get notifications as soon as there is motion and change of the alarm. Sometimes when you try to access the live feed or when the door ring The feed loads slow. But other than that it’s great

My wife wanted this installed for front door use, I did did not work as I wanted it too, changed out my WiFi router Ring devise worked as I wanted . Also got the Chimes and another Ring for back door.

Performs as advertised. No problems with connectivity as I have strong wifi in house. Only issue is sporadic motion alerts that appear to not have any motion. I assume its road glare from passing cars.

My wife and I were very excited to get this product, but after just one day having it installed, we are prepared to return it and find one that actually works. The idea behind the Ring doorbell is great, but the execution is terrible. When the motion sensor is triggered, or someone rings the doorbell, it takes at least 10 minutes to get the notification on our phone. Extremely useless as a doorbell. In addition, many times it did not give a notification at all. On the one or two occasions that we did receive a notification in time to see what was happening, the camera did not work. It was a black screen with no audio. We will be returning this and trying to find a solution that actually works. Do not buy this product.

The idea of capturing video when someone comes to my door sounds great but by the time the recording kicks in they are gone and you never see a face if you see anything. Oh and it picks up random cars driving down my culdesac even though they are was further than the 15 ft I set it at. Needs tons of improvements before buying. It was easy to install but pricey for a camera deterrent that doesn't catch any video.

works great with my ring floodlight on the front couldn't see who was at the door with just the floodlight cam only drawback it wouldn't mount on my brick molding so I installed it on the wall instead, molding too narrow

I love it and I'm able to see who's at my door at all times. I also like the fact that no matter where I'm at in my house I can speak to the person before I go answer the door rather I'm home or not

The doorbell was easy to install and I like that I am able to connect it to my Alexa and see who's at the door if I don't have my phone readily available. Battery also lasts a long time.

It's been working pretty good. They only thing we did not know is that the video recording is only free for 30 days after that you have to pay a monthly fee so that the system can record videos on your account.

I am totally enjoying my ring doorbell. I love having control of what’s going on when I’m not home. And the neighborhood watch alerts really are a good idea to know whats going on around you. You wont regret having one.

When it ring and I try to answer it take to long to show me who’s at the door. By the time I see who it is it’s already to laTe.

Hard to install on brick, but I like that you’re able to choose whether to connect to your existing door bell or simply mount it as a stand-alone door bell. Overall, great purchase.

We bought this right before going on vacation for security purposes and it was great. The motion alerts are very sensitive so anything approaching our house we got a notice. Great product would likely purchase something for our backyard!

We use this device to grant access to restricted areas of the office. It works very well. The only thing missing, is the ability to interact with our electronic door lock system. Otherwise it would have received 5 stars!!

I have an issue with my transformer so there wasn’t enough power to doorbell to operate. This device can be charged separately and I hear the ring on my phone so perfect solution for me until I fix problem.

Gives me a birds eye view of what’s going on my steps and front of house. Recommend to those who get deliveries to the house while at work. Also like that I can see who’s at the door before I open it

It won’t work with my door bell conection for power. I have to charge it at least once a month. A lot of the times it won’t load,the recording freezes, the recording is delayed so nothing is picked up, or recordings will be a black screen. Recently it’s refused to charge when i bring it inside, and on the cold nights we’ve had it kills the battery altogether. It’s a nice idea and when it works it’s amazing. It just doesn’t work more than it does. I’ve had it since April 2017.

I really didn't want to put this rating here but I have to. The sale at BB was great so I bought it. My daughter already had one and i really like it, though she had already replaced hers because of the camera after 2 days but i saw lots of promise. I received it in 2 days as BB promised. I watched YouTube installation videos as well as Ring videos. Looked easy and in fact it was. Unboxing, removing old doorbell (wired), installing the plate. New doorbell setup went very smooth. Kudos. Problem, no video. So i contacted support which was easy to do. Level one tried several things but still no video. Then they had level 2 call me. Nice. Simple to get in touch with them. The tech stayed with me on it. Total time over 3 hours with both tech levels. Still no video. Could it be my Netgear router? I switched routers just in case but same problem. After 3+ hours the conclusion was i needed a replacement. OK. I got an email later that said it had been ordered. No other information at all. So when will it ship? I don't know. I gave level 2 control of my PC and settings were changed, I noted all the changes as they may affect security so i reset them the next day to where they were. My guess is that I am in for a long haul on this to get things working having read some forum items but we'll see. If i get the replacement and if it works, i'll come back and update this. It is very frustrating to have a $200 doorbell that has a nice chime inside and out.

I am glad I made this purchase I know when there is motion at my front door even when I am not at home I have deliveries and I had friend come to my home when I wasn't home and able to let them know I was on my way so wait for me it's great!
