Good product, my door bell is not hard wired so I did not know I would have to get a Ring Chime (another $40) to hear the door bell in my house, also did not know I would not be able to log in and see the camera since it was not a hard wire. if I would have know all these things probably would have skipped it since the cool features are extra or not available.

I didn’t realize you have to subscribe to the ring service. It’s only free for 30 Days.

The device works well. My only complaint is that it is a little slow to activate and start recording video.

This is a wonderful start into the Ring products. I have truly enjoyed my first 2 weeks learning.

A little lengthy with setting up and takes a while if you have to drill into brick. Still great overall.

Thought I would like but am a little disappointed in the video quality. I see video neighbors have posted and it is clear. Can view out to sidewalk for just a second and then it goes dark and you can barely see anything. Have yet to have anyone ring the doorbell.

I purchased this for my home and it is absolutely worth it. The notifications keep my mind at ease.

The video and audio systems work well. However installation was particularly difficult and there is a hefty delay between ringing the door bell and the notification on your phone. I have kept it as we had to replace our door bell anyways, but would not choose this item again if not necessary.

The community watch feature within the app had way more people reporting unsolicited salesman, Jehovah witnesses, and people who had probably rang the wrong doorbell, more so than reporting any real criminal activity. It's not a bad product at all, I just don't like the services that are pushed on to you

The camera turns on when a mail truck goes by but not when a mailman walks towards the camera. The delay between ring and notifications on the phone is enough that those who rang your Ring to be gone. And the straw that broke the back: you need a subscription to see the video, save the video, share the videos!

Best purchase so far. Being able to monitor whether I’m home or not has given me a lot of peace!

Great camera. Have side door bell was afraid we wouldn’t be able to see people walking up but the range is great

This doorbell works well. No complaints. You can adjust the settings to your liking. Simple doorbell.
