Constantly dropping wi-fi signal even though a strong signal is indicated. sometimes it takes a while to respond when I try to respond to the doorbell being rung. Inconsistent performance.

Hmm, this does not sound right. Your Ring device should hold a stable connection to your home WIFI network. With that being said, would you please email me directly at Kaitlyn.rosenthal@ring.com so that I can investigate this for you further. Additionally, for best streaming performance, we recommend 2 Mbps upload and download speeds. Do you happen to know what your upload and download speeds are?

I love the chime and the activity screen but I can't talk to anyone at my front door when I am outside of my home. The customer service is great at Ring.com.. I worked with the owner and he sent me a WiFi booster for free. I worked with every company who might be able to fix this problem no one could. So I am glad I have the chime, the bell, the free wifi booster and the activity screen and I am keeping the Ring, but I cannot answer a call outside of the house. I would recommend this for the items that worked

Motion Sucks

If you want to catch a thief. This isnt the right device. My sons bike got stolen right in front of our house. The motion sensor didnt catch any of it. They cut the lock and it was gone. I had motion senser to the end of sidewalk and video recording. The customer service thru the ring producs is horrible. They will only try to trouble shoot the issue. Then try agian. They wont refund you if you dont buy from them directly. Even if there product is false advertisement. Thank goodness best buy still helped me and gave me in store credit. Thanks best buy for taking this waste of product off my hands.
