    The bell works ok but there is a delay from he actual ring till it appears on the phone or ipad! They have been unable to correct this minor problem.

    My ring boasts “use with a rechargeable battery or with existing home wires” can be misleading. The ONLY power source for the Ring is a rechargeable battery which you must recharge sooner or later, depending on sensitivity settings. It took my battery approximately 8 hours to fully charge and lasted approximately one week. My settings were set at approximately 10 feet away. Great idea for technology use but still has room for improvement.

    Good camera for beginners

    I like this camera. I just hate that some of the things I wanted it go record, it did not. Wish the settings were more flexible as to what area it covers to record.

    Love 2way talk! Motion sensor works great but has poor night time picture quality. Wireless version has to be unmounted every time it needs to be charged very inconvenient

    The cam itself works okay....it has a delay from when it detects movement to the actual recording. The ability to talk is terrible. The sound is almost not existant.

    I thought that the 720p wouldn’t be a problem, but it was for us. We took it right back and just paid the difference for a 1080p version.

    The concept is great but could have been designed better. The camera should be adjustable. I have to shim the whole assembly to point the camera. The speaker sucks too. Overpriced for what it does.

    Working good now had a bit of trouble with it when temperature went down to 19 degrees had to call for assistance getting it to work. After that It's working fine now

    Quality if this is okay. I believe 3 dollars a month to record video...coming from an Arlo user that gets his recording for free this kinda shook me.

    I have a brand new home and it’s not compatible. I didn’t discover this until I drilled holes in my home. Ring failed to mention this in the instructions. Waste of money and time

    I got this older model since price is ⅓ of new model. However, video quality is not so good - face clarity is not so sharp but am keeping it as a second camera.

    It's okay so far it just doesn't show clear to me unless the person is right up on the porch but otherwise it is good to have maybe I should try the ring 2

    This device does what its supposed to do. I should have gotten the Ring Doorbell 2 since it has 1080p quality. This one only has 720p. My eyes can tell the difference.

    Will not stay connected to the app, necessitating repeatedly rebooting router, even tho "device health" shows it connected to wi-fi. A pain in the butt!

    I wish we ha gone for a 1080p camera. It was an oversight. I really thought, I was getting a 1080p as this is a more standard format. Read the fine print.

    Everything seems to work fine, except for the fact that sound and image travels around the Internet before reaching your device (computer or mobile), even if they are on the same network. In other words, a lot of technical issues may interfere with the quality of sound and image as you connect to the doorbell. Unfortunately, I had to return the product. I assume that the reason for the the internet loop is to guarantee video capture. I will buy it again if I can bypass the internet when connecting through the local wifi network.

    720p is not acceptable- don’t waste your money go for 2nd Generation is a little better - although wish the view angle was like 1st Generation.
