If you’re looking at this, you know what it does and what it is for. I’m just going to say it does work and the battery life is excellent. Had ours for a few months and battery is only now below 50%

Good product. Works great. It's a little sensitive so you have to play with the settings to make sure you get them right and aren't annoyed by people driving down the street or jogging down the sidewalk. Other than that love it!

I have the Video Doorbell 2 for more than 20 days. I really like it. The quality is really good and you can review the past motions or he missed Rings easily through the cell phone.

The camera on the ring 2 is amazing! The ability to talk to visitors at your door is an awesome feature. The community is great, since it keeps you aware of events that happen in your neighborhood.

Great video doorbell. easy to set up. can be wired or battery operated (or both with battery acting as a backup). Video feed is OK, but good for the price paid. pay service to store footage for 60 days is less expensive than Nest product.

I installed this myself in about 25 minutes using the hardwired method. It works pretty good however sometimes I get a download error when I’m trying to view a motion. Not sure why this happens.

good instructions from ring. relatively easy installation. and it seems to work well. hoping that this and other ring devices will help to prevent crimes around my home / neighborhood.

I was skeptical about getting "the ring doorbell" and I must say I've enjoyed it. It feels like another layer of projection to know when someone is at the door.

I was looking for something that was better as a doorbell, but also functioned as a camera to keep an eye on things. This is it! Easy to use and the App makes it better. It’s very useful!

This was easy to install and to pair with my home network. I enjoy the app, and this has been a great way to monitor when deliveries and other people approach my front porch.

First one I got did not work, but there were pieces missing. Exchanged it and love this! It does just as it states. Good quality pictures, quiet but efficient.

Just realized different from the pro. Pro doesn't use batteries. If I have to replace battery, it will cost $30.00. I payed $139.00 for ring 2. On sale ring pro might be 189.00? Pro better deal if u get it on sale also. No battery issues.

I got this to supplement my separate camera system, but I really believed (according to the advertised info) that this could operate on its own. It can't. The motion sensor is hyper-sensitive, even after 30+ changes to try and get it to not notice a leaf blowing by. The video lag is the biggest problem, though. 1500 mbps service. Wired devices get nearly that, consistently. Wireless devices, at the exact location of the doorbell get about 50 mbps, on average. (across 5 devices) This, paired with the app, somehow means that the video lag is between 10-25 seconds (2-5 seconds before the app even notifies you, added to the time it takes to connect to the device.) This presents only minor problems, if you have a subscription. Without the paid subscription, you're going to miss nearly every motion event (i.e. package theft) because they'll be gone before you can get the video pulled up. That video is not saved, unless you pay an extra fee (monthly or yearly). The video doorbell is ok. The audio is pretty muffled, so there could definitely be improvements made. Pair that with the paid subscription, if you want the video recorded, and you've got a 1.5 star product. I shouldn't forget that the app is lackluster and only partially effective, so that detracts, even more. You can't snooze the motion notifications, across all connected devices. You have to do it on every, single one. I would absolutely look into another video doorbell, if I hadn't already purchased this one. I still might.

After buying this product and installing it, I’ve realized that this has put my mind at ease and gives me a sense of security I didn’t know I needed. Awesome product, totally recommend it!

Video is great, but there is a delay in notifications when there is motion. The area I set for motion doesn’t notify me until the person/vehicle is half way thru the set motion area.

We purchased the ring doorbell after having our car broken into one night. It works very well. The video is very clear although the audio it's sometimes a little laggy. The only negative is that the battery life is not too good.

The ring door bell was very easy to install.I used my existing chime and did not have to use the diode.The door bell came with all the tools needed to install.All you need is a drill.One star less for the video delay .

Been wanting a Ring doorbell for a while now. Purchased on Black Friday becuase of the sale. Doorbell was very easy to set up and install. Video clarity is amazing! Now I want to add more cameras!

I had the original Video Doorbell. Got the 2. The video is so much better. No mot issues with the bright lights interfering with the video. Plus got is in a bundle for a great price

I love the picture and quality of this camera. I gotta figure out what keeps making my camera give motion. I have a road in front of my house. Maybe that’s why it keeps going off ?
