Installed and worked good but then thought for the same price I can get a Ring Spotlight Cam that has the same features but also turns on lights and has a siren. Doorbell only has video and chat.

With all the package theives out there I wanted a little extra security at my house. The Ring video doorbell does just that. It was an easy install and setup. I had it going within 30 mins. It has been easy to use and a great tool.

Police officer suggested I get this after a rash of break ins in my neighborhood. I hired my handyman to install and set it up. Went very well. I like being alerted to what’s going on in town thanks to my new Ring.

This works great. Easy to install and set up. It alerts me before anyone even gets to my door. I love I can pull up live and any recordings. Cant beat the $30 annual fee.

Great doorbell camera very user friendly. Get a spare battery and never have to worry about waiting to charge it. Just swab the batteries and have peace of mind 24/7. Highly recommend

The Ring 2 is easy to install. Some of the videos have not recorded properly but I am trying to figure this out. The video quality is good but the sound seems to drop off.

Camera picture is very clear during the daytime and only a little fuzzy at night. Great sound and two way communication. Great security camera to keep an eye out for intruders and package thieves.

Great inexpensive security system and definitely worth the price. Ability to see and speak to the person at the door from your phone without needing to go to the door.

Had to return the first Ring doorbell because it only recorded 50% motion despite putting it on the most sensitive level. It’s good overall but the monthly subscription is a bit scammy in my opinion. There’s should be some compromise. Basically you buy the camera and can only go live which is useless against theft. You can record or see anything outside of live which is pretty useless. Also it takes a few attempts for the “Go Live” to activate which adds to the inconvenience of it all.

The Ring Doorbell 2 is excellent. I’v Had mine for a year now and my mom talked about getting one for the added security. I got her one for Christmas and she loves it. I highly recommend it.

Ring is great! My folks love theirs, I love mine! Picture quality is awesome! If you're ok with the chargeable battery this is a good purchase.

Great camera for the buy. Sturdy hardware, easy set up and installation. Operation is where this product lacks. Low annual fee to see recorded events. The Live view should never had been available because it’s never running consistently. No solutions made for this issue at this time of review. Website states that a strong WiFi signal is needed but this is not the case as the Ring device is 2ft away from Home WfFi device. I believe the problem lies within the architecture of server and how it handles requests. Great hardware device but wait and see if this Live View function improves before purchasing a Ring Device.

No problem putting in on my outside wall. Had to get a 55 degree wedge because of my doorbell location. My WiFi is not very strong but will get that fixed. Easy to setup and adjust.

Its convenience as long as you have a faster Internet speed in notified you to get better images coming out of it besides that you will had to have they 1080 otherwise the same and 20 is none as clear us you can imagine

This item was a Christmas present and has not been installed yet! If they work as well as the advertisement says, I am sure they will very happy with it. Thank you, Brenda

I work at home. You can't believe the number of people who come to the door during the day. It's a real pain to get up and down. Now I can speak to people at the door. The video function is awesome as well.

I've had this for over a year now. I use this regularly and bought it to know when somebody comes to my door because I'm a full time telecommuter. I knocked it down 2 stars because it often takes a while to load the camera when not at home. Also, sometimes the motion doesn't catch people until they're finally at my door. If I walk slow up to my door it would catch me when I get to the motion detection area but it doesn't work well if some is walking at least an average speed. If I increase the motion range then it'll catch large trucks on the street.

Easy to install but you must have a 12 amp amplifier if your doorbell is wired for 8 amps. Works beautifully and allows for peace of mind especially when you cannot be there.
