Pros - good video quality, battery powered, easy to install and use, Alexa integration Cons - stuttering sound, battery cover difficult to remove

I have bought the first generation ring and this one. Using the first generation one it is nice to communicate with visitors at the door but it is not useful if my house was broken into. This ring however is perfect. It is crystal clear, night vision is great and so is the audio. Very simple to hardwire to standard doorbell so you dont have to worry about charging. This is the 4th ring doorbell ive purchased, and ive installed them for family members as gifts, for my personal home, and rental property.

Setup the doorbell as a test in our living room to make sure that it worked. After using it to keep an eye on our pets, ended up installing it out front. So far it is perfect for covering our front porch and yard. I botched the install a little so I would definitely recommend making sure you're comfortable with the install, only because mine was on brick and not as easy to patch. Battery life is estimated 6-12 months based on motion but haven't had it installed long enough to test that fully.

I love the fact that I can tie it into the power supply of my current doorbell and that it actually rings my current bell as well as send messages to all phone connected. I was having some sound issues but with the recent updates fixed the problem.

I have have this product installed for a month and the battery is at 53%! I thought I would be charging this once a week or two weeks but to have it last a month and only halfway drained I am amazed. The picture quality overall is really good. I wish on the zooming in feature the quality would be a little bit crisper but I knew what I was getting as I read reviews prior to purchasing. I really liked it overall and that my friend who helped me installed was impressed and bought one as well!\

I love the camera but wish recording would be better. It does not record long when detects someone in front of camera. Longer recording should occur for better understanding of videos

Love it! I am very happy with my purchased Ring front doorbell. Can monitor who arrives at my front door. You feel safe when you're home and away. It is easy to install. Picture quality is more than fine and has had no issue with connectivity. they will work off rechargeable batteries so you don't need to have doorbell wiring to use them. The video is also stored on the cloud so if something does happen you can't lose the video even if someone steals your parcel or Amazon stuff. Sometimes it can be the delay for some reason. Overall they are good but need some upgrades from the ring to make them work a little better.

This camera was easy to setup and the direction were spot on step by step. I connected to the Wi-Fi on the first attempt and never had a problem. The picture quality is excellent. The ability to adjust the sensitivity of the motion detector is easy to use. The application setup on my phone is quick. The intercom system works great and allows me to screen any solicitors I don't want to talk to. Great camera at great price with lots of features.

This door bell brings enhanced security as well as a functional door bell. The optional battery backup allows flexibility in where it can be installed. After replacing the front door bell we decided to buy a second one for the back door.

This is awesome easy to install has a great camera on it and shows my whole front yard and alarms me when people come in my yard.

The picture is great and even records sound. It has a battery in it that has given me no problems yet. Easy to install and setup.

Ring Doorbell 2 is easy to set up. The video is clear. I wish is was a little bit smaller, but overall I'm satisfied.

Installation and set up was very simple. Was able to screw it on a wooden door frame. Quality of the video is great and motion sensor is dependable, and can be adjusted if you don't want it to activate after every car drives by. I also purchased the ring chime pro with wifi extender. Initially, I had set the chime one room away from the front door, which caused some connectivity issues. I have since moved it to the room closest to front door and now it works perfectly. Very happy with purchase.

I found this easy to install and set up on my internet and get the app working with a Sony smart phone. Only issue was (is) reducing the motion detection range to avoid picking up vehicles, etc. passing by. My door is 75 feet from the curb, the bell is mounted using the angled bracket, and even at the lowest setting it will still pick up a large truck (but nothing else). App has worked well for both the motion alerts and the doorbell ring alerts, so no real complaints with it.

After having a package stolen from my front porch I scheduled a Geek Squad free home consultation for smart home security. The Ring Pro was recommended. I bought it, had it installed and could not be more pleased. Great product!

Overall this is a great product. There a few quirks that I feel need to be worked out. On setting up the zone for motion detection. It currently doesn't notice until someone is almost on my door step, yet if a large object say a garbage truck or delivery truck drives by, it notices that every time. Other than that, it 110% serves the purpose of what I was looking for. Also a note, I purchased the extra battery, not realizing that having it wired to the existing doorbell provided the power needed to keep the battery charging. Great product, I highly recommend it.

Excellent quality and take less than 5 min to install best purchase ever and easy to use through your phone
