No problems at all, easy install (ties in to existing doorbell wires). Quality is great. I do wish I purchased a Nest doorbell to go with my Nest cameras. Having smart devices from different manufacturers is a pain as you can't easily pull them all up on a webpage but it definitely does the job. If you want any sort of playback or history, you need to sign up for a monthly service.

I previously owned the Ring Video Doorbell 1. It worked great but the motion sensor is way too sensitive. I wanted a second doorbell, to have video of my backyard, so I purchased the Ring Video Doorbell 2 for my front door and relocated the old one to the backyard. The Doorbell 2 works way better than the previous version. The video seems a bit more clear. Also, it's less sensitive - it picks up just the right motion activity. Great buy!

I exchanged my Ring 1 doorbell for this Ring 2 doorbell. Primarily because I didn't like the 180 degree viewing angle. It was too fish eyed and bubbly looking. The 160 degree viewing angle on this one is much better in my opinion. The clarity is not as good as I would expect for 1080 resolution. But it is good and works fine. It is rather large in size... I wish it was a bit smaller. Setup was super easy. I am satisfied with this product.

I had planned to have the video doorbell installed. However, when I opened the package and read the directions, even I could do the installation. Not only did the product come with the screws and mollies but also the screw driver and mollies. They even included extra wire and connectors if the wire from the old doorbell to the Ring2 was short. The directions had clear pictures and were simple to follow.

I like the easy install and set up for the app. This is my first Ring product and aside from my internet being slow this device works well! I haven't had any problems with the Ring device itself!

This is a great product and is worth the price if you are security conscious. The video quality is nice and it never fails to pick up motion. You can buy a separate battery pack so that you never have to worry about the installed battery running out and not having one ready. You can also hardwire it and then you don’t have to worry about batteries at all. Overall this is an awesome product.

I upgraded from the first generation ring doorbell. This has better picture quality. The installation was easy since it has the same footprint as the first generation; so there was no need to drill new holes. My one issue is the length of the video which is only 30 seconds. According to customer service video length will be extended to one minute. There is a fee for video storage. I found the customer service to be helpful, patient and polite. I also needed a wifi extender. I found the ring doorbell wifi extended worked the best.

Pretty easy setup and worked on the first try! Just make sure you're not too far from your wifi router. The app must be downloaded first and then it walks you through the setup. Very good picture and sound. Video storage is well worth the small monthly charge. I'm not wired and running on battery only. I get about 2 to 3 months on one charge. Not nearly what Ring claims. A 2nd battery is about $30.

This device was so easy to install and has great picture quality. Easy to follow install instructions came with the unit, along with an easy to follow video. Connecting it to all my devices was super easy too, including Android and iPhone. The added bonus is you get to join the Neighborhood app where Ring owners get to share local activities and happenings for greater awareness. Solid device all around.

Purchased to accompany my two additional outdoor cameras (nest). Alerts seem to work in a fairly fast fashion. The picture quality is great. The only complaint that I have with it is it lags quite a bit trying to switch to live mode on the app. I can live with it though since I have two other views to use. It’s been installed about a month and so far the battery has held up without needing to be recharged.

This doorbell is pretty cool. It has crystal clear picture all the way across to my neighbors front door and it allowed me to hard wire it in place of the original doorbell instead of using wifi.

I love this doorbell. I added the chime for indoor sound too, making this system even better. I prefer the battery option since I do not have a wired doorbell to attach the Pro model to. The fact that it comes with all of the extra pieces to tailor the setup to your particular scenario is great. Set up was unbelievably easy. The battery does take a while to charge, I left mine over night. So far it is working great.

I definitely recommend this awesome product! I've installed it using its battery only. So I didn't need to wire it. I like the recording of motion even before a visitor presses the button. Fun!

I purchased this as a gift for my mom and she is absolutely ecstatic about having the ring. She loves the fact that even when she is not home she can see who comes to the house and no stranger will ever know that no one is home again!

I love this doorbell, it makes for a great video doorbell for when I’m not home to be able to see who is on my property. I like that the doorbell rings now on my phone instead of in my house which is nice for a nightshift nurse who doesn’t want to be woken up in the day by a package being delivered. There is a $3 fee to record each month but that is a small price to pay to know the house is safe while I’m not there.

The Ring 2 is working just like I hoped it would. It is pretty quick when notifying me that someone is at my door. The picture is very clear and I'm able to talk to who ever is there. I picked up another battery and now I always have one to replace when the other battery is close to dying. They both last a long time and I have a lot of traffic to through my front door. Happy with the purchase.

I LIKE IT OK EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT IT PICKS UP LARGE VEHICLES ON THE STREET....E.G. TRASH TRUCKS, MAIL MAN ETC. I ADJUSTED TO 5 FT PLUS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON AT RING SAID SHE TURNED DOWN THE HEAT SENSITIVITY.... DIDN'T HELP

I have a doorbell already, this is a gift, the doorbells are easy to install and worth it , for not only security for home but prevent theft of your deliveries and see who is hanging around your house and neighborhood, I recommend using the neighborhood app in the ring app. lets you see what other people around you are posting about possible danger or people hanging around the property and strangers coming up to their doors.

The battery lasts about a month. The picture quality is great. Very easy to install.
