I have a doorbell already, this is a gift, the doorbells are easy to install and worth it , for not only security for home but prevent theft of your deliveries and see who is hanging around your house and neighborhood, I recommend using the neighborhood app in the ring app. lets you see what other people around you are posting about possible danger or people hanging around the property and strangers coming up to their doors.

I purchased the Ring 2 video doorbell as soon as I learned about it. I've never had a video doorbell before but thought I'd give it a try since I moved into a new home recently and wanted some basic safety features for my family. I also liked the fact that it was wireless for the install since my house is not wired for a doorbell (it has an older dinky wireless one when I bought the place). I figured the Ring would be a little helpful, but it turns out that it's mega-helpful. I've found it really helps for deliveries when I'm not home. I can just tell the delivery person to leave the package or that I'll be home right away to sign from it (this happened once when I was 5 minutes away and I thought to myself, "wow this is super cool, this product actually does what it's suppose to do"). Anyway, it was pretty easy to install and works really well. I did buy the wireless chime/extender to make sure my wi-fi reaches the product. I'm thinking about getting a second battery so I can charge and swap when the first one runs out instead of not having doorbell working while I charge the first one. I would say this is definitely a luxury investment as I'm pretty sure humans have existed ok without tech like this, but it has been helpful and is pretty cool. Recommended. Glad I went for it.

I love it. It is so easy to install and operate! The quality of the picture is remarkable I was pleasantly shocked! The range is also awesome. There are so many options in the app where you get to decide how you want it to work. My fiancé is working from out of town right now and it definitely gives me a sense of security being a mom at home with two kids by herself! Buy it now!

I absolutely love this doorbell. Omg... I was skeptical on it working. Our house wasn't originally wired right for it and then the internet sign was week. None of that mattered. Works perfectly, can speak to people if I am not there, never have to charge it since it is wired in. Also, I did pay for Best Buy to install. That made everything seamless . Favorite purchase in a long time.

Good quality and pretty decent battery life. Very touchy to movement (tree moves, bug goes across the screen). Catches all the cars that go by, which can be annoying, but at least I know it works. Every now and then wont capture something. I could go up and down my porch right after a car going by, and will capture and record the car, but not me which can be concerning. Therefore doesn't record or capture EVERYTHING, ALL the time. Overall though meets what I need it to do.

Good image, large field of view, easy to connect to phone and install, works flawlessly

The Ring Doorbell 2 is perfect and works as advertised. Easy to install if you already have an existing conventional doorbell. The set up takes more time than just the installation, so plan on 4-6 hours ahead of time to charge the battery before installing and downloading the app. I have had it installed for more than 3 weeks now and the video is very clear and captures everyone that comes up to the door.

Set up was very easy. Surprisingly the Ring comes with everything you need to install including screws and tools. Instructions for set up and easy to follow. The doorbell set up in minutes and took less than 5 mins to install. We have had it for a month and it works perfectly every time. Great to monitor people at your front door and also be able to advise delivery guys what to do with packages. Worth the money!

Great product. Clear picture I plan to give them to my family members. Next I plan to get the outside lights with cameras for more security protection. I will stay with ring products

This product has earned a 5 Star Rating right out of the box. Easy to install. It connects to WiFi and you now have access from your phone ,computer or tablet. The video is crystal clear and the battery life has continued for 30 days plus before needing a recharge. (A solar mounting bracket is available through ring) I recommend everyone to have this product to just add piece of mind!!

I got this Ring doorbell during the holiday season deal. The video doorbell is super easy to install and is ready doing its job instantly. The in-built camera shows very clear images and video even during night time. The motion sensor is quite sensitive and the app has very nice control to set the sensitivity to desired levels. Overall this is a very good buy for home-owners.

I have owned a couple of these and I am a big fan. They take good quality videos and area easily adjustable to suit your personal needs. Video storage is priced reasonably through Ring and allows you to go back and view video later. I only wish that the video clips were longer or that the timing for the video clip would be set based on the last motion detected in the event.

Camera is pretty decent, app needs some improvement. There’s a bit of a delay when someone rings the doorbell before I can see it on the app. Usually the person is leaving by the time I can view it. I also have a nest where you can see all footage, the ring only lets you see live or an event- there’s no ability to check to see what happened right before that. Battery dies every couple of weeks, but easy to charge. I think I’d buy it again, just wish the app would be improved.

Replaced a hardwired doorbell with this Ring, was pretty easy to setup and get connected. We've had some fun with it and getting the settings right. The notifications are a bit touchy, we sit back about 300 yards from the road and when the trees have lost their leaves the reflection off of passing cars can sometimes trigger a notification. Other then that not too bad.

One of the best things I have invested in was a video doorbell, Ring 2. We have packages delivered to us frequently, so having the ring doorbell for 24 hour surveillance gives us a piece of mind. The doorbell was an easy install which can be used wireless, wired, or both. The picture and the intercom is only decent but still exceeds expectations for the service it provides. Overall, great product.
