Upon initial installation, this was great! About 3 weeks into using it, I noticed the battery drained very quickly! I was expecting to go longer than 3 weeks off of a full battery (in the 2 months that I've had this, I've had to charge it 4 times, even with the recommended battery settings) . Then I noticed that the video quality was deteriorating. Very choppy and grainy. Now, the video only works half of the time...I will either get a grainy, chopped up video, or I'll just get a black screen. Yesterday, as I left my house, my alert went off to let me know there was movement on my porch... but it didn't even record, as it's supposed to! No video popped up for it at all. There are times when I'll go to check prior videos and it'll show solicitors leaving my house but not approaching my house, which I have it set up to do. That defeats the purpose! I've only had this for 2 months and I can't say I'm pleased with this purchase... not for the money I paid.

This version is much better than the first version. It is very convenient that you can take the battery out to recharge

Easy installation and the app is phenomenal! I highly recommend this product!

Excellent video quality and the motion alerts are great. I'm just struggling with having a strong enough Wi-Fi signal to get those alerts quickly.

I love ring, it's so nice to see who is at my door and I can talk to them. It's perfect for catching the low life package thiefs!!

Overall it's a pretty great product especially if you're not home a lot and want to see what is going on around your home.

I really wanted a Ring, the added security is a huge deal to me. Being able to see who's at my door is a great help.

Camera is great. Works well. You need a subscription for it to record past events. So if you miss the alert it’s gone forever without it.

Out of the box and review of the RING DOORBELL 2 started promising. Lovely wide angle colored video. Easy to connect to WiFi and iPhone Application. Then we attempted to try it out; sounds coming from doorbell, my voice, was garbled and hard to understand although I could hear the person outside clearly on my phone app. Then, the video switched from color to black and white. Neither the instructions in the box or on the application showed how to fix either the sound or picture trouble. Google comments suggesting removing the doorbell from the app. and resetting the doorbell. After hitting the reset button I was no longer able to connect to the app. It was quite frustrating and promptly returned. Unfortunate because I had received a 10% Birthday Discount which saved us $20 on the purchase which I lost upon returning the product.

Love that I can see who is at the door from across the room. Took less than 1/2 hour to install with wiring.
