Yes people complain about it needs strong wifi etc but it doesn't play too nice with mesh networks and sometimes even if an access point is close by it still has issues. However the doorbell does work like a charm but you almost have to sign up for the cloud services for it to be really useful. That is a bummer as it should at least give you a day or 2 free recording. The yearly cost is fairly low though so but would be nice to not have to purchase cloud services.
