I cannot say enough great things about this product. It makes me and my wife feel safe knowing the ring is always there recording any movement. The setup is intuitive and easy, the app walks you through everything. The battery lasts a good amount of time before needing a recharge. Overall, a highly recommended product.

I got this on sale and I’m very happy with my purchase. It has a good motion detection range and good picture quality as well. We tried a different camera above the door but where the ring is positioned is perfect to be able to see faces. The battery lasted a few months with multiple daily detections. Very happy with my purchase.

I was surprised at how easy it was to install, if you have a wired doorbell do not get the battery version like I almost did. Quality is good and like the ability to see what was going on, town meter guy walking through the yard, UPS, or my kids dancing in front of it. A little lag on the responsiveness sometimes but I like it

Great product for the moneyI built my house 4 years ago and It did not come with a doorbell believe it or not but I recently installed this product and it did the trick works great and is battery operated the battery last for about four weeks and you could buy an additional battery for roughly $20 absolutely great product would recommend it to anyone

More than happy with my purchase. Having the doorbell and being able to see who is at the door when the bell is rung is a cool feature. If you subscribe to the protect plan, your ring doorbell would record a timeline of the day so that is helpful to have so that you can see what happened during the day. There are also other cool features where if you have other ring doorbells, all of them can be activated for motion sensing if one of the ring doorbells notices motion. If you have a ring account you are part of the ring community where your neighbors can share videos and comments with the community notifying of burglaries, fires, etc around the neighborhood. To install the doorbell, best solution is to have it hardwired as there is no need to take out the battery and re-charge it. But if you do not want to hard-write it, it comes with a rechargeable battery that you can take out and re-charge. In my case, I have two ring doorbells, one is hardwired with the battery in (you have to keep the battery in) and the other is only battery operated. To have no downtime, I bought an extra battery to just swap out when another battery dies.

At first it look like it was going to be difficult to install but in fact it was a Breeze. I had it up and going and it works Great A. I'm Satisfied

bell preforms well and the video is clear.. be warned though, thy charge a fee for video retrieval... i use it in conjunction with my blink cameras, blink dos not charge a monthly fee

My friend got one and asked me to help her set it up. I was so impressed that i ended up getting one for me. It was easy to install, the features are amazing and overall just a great buy. It’s aesthetically pleasing and makes me feel way safer. I would highly recommend this whether it’s for safety, an extra eye or just convenience.

This is a nice option to looking at getting security cameras. Need to play with it to adjust sensor and motion. Wish started recording on first spot of motion has a 3 second delay.

We live in a gated community, but travel frequently, so we wanted a way to interact with a person ringing the doorbell, to see packages delivered, and to monitor our front area and entryway. I read about the different options for a video doorbell and went with the Ring Video Doorbell 2. I did not see a need for the Pro version for us. Installation was very simple. Everything needed came in the box. I removed the old doorbell, mounted and wired the new Ring 2, downloaded the app, adjusted the zones and have enjoyed it since. The monitoring is only $3.00 a month and the first 30 days are free to see videos. After having the Ring 2, we are now considering their alarm system, which will only be $10 a month, including the Ring 2. I set the same account name and password for my devices and my wife's devices, so we can each monitor and view recordings. There is a way to allow guests or someone else to view, but we did not utilize that option. Got the Ring 2 on a Black Friday deal and an Amazon Echo Dot 2 was included. Well worth the money and now we have neighbors, friends, and family that will be purchasing, based off of our experience. Easy installation and functional app. I would highly recommend.

Great video Quality and very easy to use and to install

I’m little skeptical when is about technology, but my son in law convinced me that is very easy to install and is really give you that peace of mind with your house being secure. We bought 3 off them already and we bought the security system as well . Great product at great price . I’ll totally recommend this product!!!!

Love the security the RING gives me. The design is sleek and good looking in any type house. Will be getting one for my daughter for Christmas.

Excellent Product! I can keep an eye whenever I'm out of town. I feel at ease knowing that I can check-in at any time. Totally worth it. Quality is great, easy to set up, and the app does everything for you. Getting one of their plans gives you more benefits and keeps all of your recordings.

Grabbed this item during Black Friday of 2018 on sale. Set up as soon as I got it and have not had any issues, works as designed, overall happy with the product and my purchase. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants extra security! Also really nice that you can wire it to your existing door bell wiring so you don’t have to charge it!

This is a really great camera. It’s high quality. The app is easy to use and can be live view is viewable anytime. You have to pay a fee for the recordings to be saved which it’s worth it. Just be sure to not set it too sensitive or else your phone will be blowing up with notifications for any motion.

I got this for my aunt because it had a great yearly cloud price and a purchase price. The app is really easy to use, which is helpful for my aunt. The picture is really clear. I love how they provide you with the different faces and tilted mounts. Was a great buy and would definitely recommend.

This is a great product and works good. Great camera and picture. The only drawback is that the battery does not last as long as advertised.

Great product, easy to use, easy setup, great for security

This is my first video system and I am pleased with the cost and ease of installation and use. It took a few days to adjust the settings so every car that drove by wasn't;t triggering the alert, but I feel that it does exactly what it says it will. The battery has lasted and worked well and after 30 days I upgraded to the $3/month charge to save videos. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
