It’s easy to install, easy to operate. The battery life is great and it sends you alerts on time. It doesn’t connect from time to time but that’s tech in general. Picture quality is excellent and does what it says, it allows you to be home even when your not. I plan on buying other ring cameras for the back of my house!

I’ve had my ring doorbell for a couple weeks now and I couldn’t be happier! It was packaged with all the necessary tools and mounting plates needed for attaching outside my home. I plugged in the rechargeable battery and let it fully haste before going further. That took about 10 hours. This does come with everything you need to wire into an existing doorbell if you choose to do so. Once I figured out the best placement for my doorbell using the side angles mount I was able to attach it in minutes. I downloaded the app for the Ring doorbell and completed the set up. Once attached I placed the last security screw and was ready to go! My ring is set so that it senses motion about 15 feet away. Once it senses that Ring alerts my phone and the doorbell and the chime room no to alert me someone is approaching. Video has been very clear and I love being able to talk and see whoever is outside my door without opening the door. Works great with the night vision. Comes with stickers you can place on a window or door letting people know that there is video surveillance.

This doorbell runs on a battery so there is no need to bother with the hassle of wiring it. The battery lasts about six weeks before recharging or swap out with an extra battery. Takes about one minute to swap. The video is good. You can even select live view just to see what is going on outside your door without getting up to check.

The ring doorbell is easy to install. It only took me about 15 minutes to remove my old doorbell and install the ring with the right adapters for my install(included). It works well and is kind of fun to play with! If you live on a busy street you’ll have to fine tune the motion detector or it goes off every time a car drives by.

Since buying this device, I've used it or checked on it almost daily. I'm constantly fidgeting with the settings which some could say is a bad thing but I'm always messing with my technology. The camera quality on this device is fantastic for what I need and I love the fact that I'm alerted to activity close by so I can check on who/what is at my door. I do tend to travel often so having this as an added security, on my door, has really helped me keep track of packages that may arrive when I'm away or ensure my home stays secure. I, eventually, plan on upgrading this package with cameras for added protection but, for now, this device absolutely is one of the best security devices you can have to protect your home, aside from an actual security system. I only rated this at 4 stars because the settings for when it alerts you are EXTREMELY difficult to manage. It's either too sensitive or not enough and finding that sweet spot has been a challenge where I've almost given up. That being said, the app is great and being able to keep up to date on the security of my home has been a blessing. I'm sure the newer models of this are even better but for the price, this is perfect for starting out.

This was easy to install with the existing doorbell wiring that we had. Was a bit confused about the plastic angle attachments but worked out fine. It alerts me when someone is at the door early and I can even hear them. I can now see clearly the people going in and out of my neighbors house at all hours of the day and night.

Purchased this in 2018 and it has been great. It was easy to set up and it came with clear instructions on how to use. Video quality is good and it has stopped people from stealing packages in our front door. You do have to pay for a subscription to view recordings but it is not very expensive

Switched from a Skybell HD when my AC transformer gave out and needed a device that ran off of internal batteries. The Ring 2 gives that option. I do prefer the Skybell for video quality (night video is in color vs B&W for the Ring), though the Ring seems to be better at adjusting for sensitivity. Also Skybell retains a week of activity at no cost vs a monthly fee for Ring.

I was nervous about the battery but it actually lasts a few weeks. We are in the process of hardwiring, but need a special part which is on order. One thing to keep in mind, Ring announced HomeKit support via software update later this year. But only the Pro Doorbell and the Floodlight cam will get it. If that's a key feature for you, it might be worth spending the extra $50 and figuring out how to hardwire.

It was easy to activate and install. Picture quality was very good even when not using 1080. Installed two units so front and back door are now covered. I like being able to exclude times for the alerts on certain door, since we have a lot of activity in areas that we don’t need movement notifications.

We feel much safer now that we are notified whenever there is activity at our door. It took a few tries to get the sensitivity adjusted properly and to determine what mounting location would be best. We are pleasantly surprised at how long the battery has lasted (still at 83% after a month of usage, including setup!!).

I previously had the 1st Ring Doorbell and loved it but as soon as I seen this at the store I had to buy it. Updated video quality, better night vision and design. I love the idea of switching out batteries now instead of removing the whole device and charging instead of having a few hours of no doorbell or security if you didn't have it hard wired.

Great for tracking package deliveries whether you are home or not. It records very clear video of anyone that approaches the front door n stores for future review if necessary. Only downside is the 3-4 second lag from when motion is detected n when recording starts, but I knew this before purchasing.

It was easy to install, you will need to sign up for full functions with Ring for few dollars a months. Pictures and video quality is awesome. It was very easy to connect it to my phone and Alexa device The only issue is the battery, you will need to recharge It more often at least once a month.

Really Cool! I've been able to answer the door from a different state. Great when you have someone testing to see if anyone's home.

The Ring Doorbell 2 is easy to install and use via your smartphone. Since we are in a homeowner association rental and prohibited from drilling and then using screws to mount we simply purchased outdoor double sided Gorilla tape and used two strips of tape on the unit to attach it directly to the door. Adheres firmly.

The ring video doorbell 2 was purchased to monitor the packages that get delivered and to observe the foot traffic that sets outside my house. The battery life of this device is around 1.5 weeks until it needs a charge. Installation and use was exceptionally easy and the video quality is awesome!

This product works great, just need good internwt source so it doenst delay in showing you the feed. Once feed uploads its crisp clear and voice talk works great also. One more con is the sensitivity should have even lower options... In my area my main door is very close to a walkway so it's not really the products fault.

The camera quality is better than I expected and the cloud service is very affordable. I would definitely recommend this product.

Absolutely love this product! Not only can I see visitors or deliver people when they arrive, I can also watch for my kids to get home from school. It also interacts great with the screen built in to my refrigerator so I can see what's going on away my front door without ever leaving the kitchen. Highly recommend!
