I love this thing, I get notices and alerts and even records the conversation. After the free trial I waited before subscribing to the monitoring that keep the info on file. It's only $3.00 per month or $30.00 for the entire year. I notice that when solicitors hear the ring alert they turn around and leave which is good because I do not like solicitors.

This is a great camera and very easy to set up. Would definitely recommend

I bought the first generation of ring so it was obvious i had to get the 2nd. The improvements from clarity to functions are so far ahead of the first. that it only gets better. Live view, motion ring alert, only humans settings and so much more. My best advice if you dont have an existing doorbell. Keep an extra batter to make sure you aren't offline long.

Easy to set up. I needed something for the house to keep an eye out for bad guys.

I finally yielded to the concept of a video door bell this Christmas. I got the Ring 2 that was hard wired to my old doorbell. I integrated it with my Echo devices. It took a few days to adjust the sensitivity so we do not hear alerts for every passing car. I have to admit that I find it useful in alerting us on the phone and the Echo devices as well as see the recordings. I give it 4 stars only because of the video recording fees.

There has been increase of thieves breaking into people cars and stolen packages off the steps in South Philly. The ring door 2 has been great for me allowing me to see who climb my steps or lingering in front of my home. The clarity is good and so the night vision.. I can see who around my house when I'm at work using my Ring App. I definitely recommend this product.

Pretty easy to install. Works great. Make sure your Wi-Fi in your house works well near the location you use your ring.
