Works great my ring alarm app

I love that you can select the frequency of the times you want the door bell to detect and record motion. The settings are pretty self explanatory. It comes with different face plates and mounts to make it work for you. My door faces a busy street so I’m glad I was able to play with the settings to get it just right.

Adequate for monitoring you door

But following two app updates, the notification to my phone/tablet has deteriorated. Actually, there were no notification for the last two events. I only knew because I checked the daily log. On one event, the person that was recorded was already leaving the porch area when the recording started. This was not an issue before the upgrades were installed.

Especially since they can connect with echo show (1st Gen). This makes the doorbell even better since they don't have to use their cell phones when they're home. Great safety feature for them since they can answer the door without opening it. It also allows me to keep tabs on their home when they travel.
