Once installed the working capability is questionable. I was just recently out of town for a few days and it had a hard time picking up the ring as I had it tested. The picture is good quality. More fine tuning maybe needed on my part?

Could not see myself without one now

I liked the concept but was not super confident if it would work as stated. Fast forward now and I love it. It tells me when my packages are here and also lets me know when someone is anywhere near my house. The best feature is that you can set the zone which helps to not alert me about cars.

It’s not what I expected but then again it’s wireless and not the wired model, which I should’ve bought but I didn’t have a pre existing doorbell wire. The video is not the best quality, it skips, it’s not smooth, not real time. My girlfriend has the wired model and it’s a lot better, has a better quality, doesn’t skip and it’s real smooth. Battery Life is horrible. First charge last me 1 week and a half, then I bought a spare battery, changed the settings, turned notifications off and motion alerts off, Still have Live View On, NOT ON HDR. I don’t know what else to change to make the battery last me at least a month. Battery takes a few hours to fully charge. I think Ring is misleading people by saying battery can last 6 months to a year, I don’t know how if I have most settings off right now. If I turn off Live View then there’s no point in having a Video Doorbell camera. I also bought the Chime With WiFi extender.
