Love our Ring Video Doorbell 2. We have a setup with Nest outdoor cameras and bought the Doorbell 2 for additional security up front. Ring notifications seem to be faster than Nest and have had no problems. The battery seems to be lasting just over a month with normal use. We do face a street and have plenty of activity but it's easy to remove and charge the battery. You can also purchase an additional battery if you'd like to do a quick swap while one charges. Connectivity: No issues whatsoever, I am running a Ubiquiti Access Point on Xfinity with over 250 mbps. Connectivity is key with the ring so make sure you have decent RSSI signal where the doorbell will be located. https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Understanding-RSSI-Values-and-Wireless-Signal-Strength Regarding mobile app: The mobile app is good, could connect a bit faster but it does work just fine. Love the Neighbors feature to keep an eye out on what's going on in my general area.

Overall good quality pictures. Settings are pretty sensitive and need to be adjusted and tested to find the right one. Watch angles, if you told and get to much of a wall/door in the picture it won’t pick up a ton of detail at night. Best night picture when pointed directly forward from the mounted wall.

This was easy to install and operate. It operates off of a rechargeable battery. Wire connection is for existing door bell, not for charging battery. You can get the subscription that stores your recordings. Otherwise, use just to answer door with no recording. Works great either way.

Works great, has great views of the front door & long battery life. Easy to setup & install. Wish it worked better from long distances away though, runs slow & hard to load when not in close proximity. Would recommend multiple times over either way

Installation is very easy. The Ring folks have thought of just about every scenario, even replacing the earlier version (an adapter plate to avoid drilling new holes). It is impressive how much thought they put into installation. Great video quality, easy setup, nice product.

This is a nice product and works for our needs. The ring app is easy to set up and use. One issue is it seems too sensitive. It picks up every vehicle driving down our street. I get 50+ hits a day. Not sure if that is adjustable, need to check. Geek Squad did the install. Nice job. Bronze bezel matches our entryway.

This was such a great purchase, I went back to buy a second one for my other door. It very clear quality, easy to install and set up! I would recommend others to buy this camera, love the notifications, and how I have access from anywhere to view my cameras.

This device is unbelievable. Easy to install. You get updates wherever you are via your smartphone or tablet. You will get a email when it is time to replace the battery. The charge is good for about a month. Recommend you purchase a extra battery while the other is charging.

easy installation. We hardwired to our wifi. Good quality camera. Loved it since we started using it. Can easily turn notifications off so your phone doesn't go off every time. Like how you can touch the green call icon when your watching live and answer your door with out being home or answering the door.

This door bell its easy to install and works greate. The first month record every movement from the second month it need subscription. But its awesome quality. The video its 1080 and tje image its greate in day ligth and nigth vision.

This has been my first ring product purchase and I love it. It was easy to install and program on my phone via the Ring App. It gives me a great live view of the front area of my house and allows me to speak with people even when I’m not home. Very convenient and useful.

The Ring doorbell is easy to install and has quick phone app access. You will need an echo or similar device for the ringer to sound. The camera captures quite a bit of range, and recharging the battery is simple with use of the USB cord that is supplied with the product.

The doorbell has been amazing and the fact that any average joe can hardwire this its amazing. It took less than 15 min to have it up and running, and hasn't given me issues since than. And for $75 at that time it was a steal.

moderately easy setup. If not connecting to hardwired doorbell, really need the accompanying Chime product to hear the doorbell ring.

This doorbell is awesome!! Easy to install. Records video and sends alerts to my phone anytime there’s motion. Quality of the images are excellent. I also bought the Ring Spot light cams that are fantastic as well!! Love this system!! I have recommended these products to several friends!

This is my second ring system, not because it broke, just because I like new tech. Loved the upgrade where one can switch out batteries. I do recommend having a second battery. Charge one and have one installed. Always ready to go. Video is clear system is amazing.

This was easy to install. I wired it to my existing doorbell wires. The instructions were super simple. And the motion detection and video is amazing! I also went with their security monitoring, very affordable. The whole system is just great and its expandable!

This is a great purchase, and for the price, I couldn't be happier. Everything I wanted in a video doorbell. The picture is clear. The installation is easy, and it came with two options for appearance. I'm planning on buying another battery, just so there is no down-time.

This is my third Ring Product and they work as they are supposed to if you have a strong wifi network and the doorbell is close to your router. If it is more than a room away invest in a wifi access point or the Ring Chime Pro and save your self some frustration. The Ring Support Team is great and will help you through the issues. It is a great product when it works. Getting it to work consistently is the challenge.
