So I think enough reviews have been written about ring as a camera and whatnot. Let’s talk about the unboxing experience. I have to tell you I was moved to write a review becuase I could not believe the detail and forethought that the company put into the box. It has literally everything you could possibly need right in the box. No having to go buy adapters or lounts or screws of whatever. It’s all there. They have a screwdriver in there, multiple mounting plates for getting the right angle, an adapter included to use the existing screw holes from your previous versions of ring so you don’t have to drill new holes, a freaking diode for hard wiring to a digital doorbell. Like seriously, I couldn’t believe how well they thought this through.

Upgraded my Ring to the Ring 2 as I don't have power for the pro and I couldn't be happier with the picture quality and life of battery. The upgraded battery design is nice all you have to do is remove the battery and not the whole camera, lasts about 2 months in between charges.

It took me over a month of procrastinating to install due to slight intimidation. I was wrong. It was super easy to set up and I am obsessed with it. Great security feature for the house and recommending for family. Probably will purchase as Christmas gifts this year.

Followed instructions hooked up to existing doorbell wiring was up and working within 30 minutes. We can see who is at the door and speak to them without opening the door. We receive phone alerts and can see who is at the door if we are away from home. Excellent system!

Works exactly as described. Easy to install in place of an already existing lighted doorbell so we don’t have to charge the battery. Works great when we are out of town and want to make sure packages have been delievered and to keep an eye on things in our front yard.

This little gem has made me feel more secure at home, would definitely recommend everyone get one.

VERY easy set-up. The picture quality is great, but audio quality can be a bit sketchy. The speaker works pretty good, but the microphone doesn't pick up sound clearly. Anxious to get a couple of the motion detecting cameras for more complete coverage of my property.

This camera is very easy to install and it took no time to charge the battery. Ive had this video doorbell for about 3 months and have had no problems. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to further protect their home at a reasonable price.

Probably the best thing about this doorbell is how easy both the setup and usage of it really is. The doorbell took no more than 30 minutes to install and the app has not let me down. The most work you have to do is simply charge the battery once in a while.

The ease of installing this camera plus the quality of the pictures and video it delivers is amazing..you can adjust the distance you want to view plus you can mount your doorbell on an angle if your entry way is not a straight shot. Recommend highly.

This is an amazing device. It is very easy to use. It looks great. It is made of quality materials and should last for a very long time. I would recommend this product to anyone. It’s a great gift option for anyone.

I’ve always wanted the ring and ever since our car got broken in to, this product is amazing! It captures crisp videos (I believe good WiFi also plays a part in this) and battery life is pretty long before you have to charge it. Can’t wait to purchase the camera!

I love that I can see when anyone pulls in my yard and as they walk up to my door. Great picture and sound. We did not connect the doorbell electrically so I bought an extra battery for it. I get notifications when the battery is low.

Bought 1st generation ring , shows everything on porch and leading up to porch however if I wanted to $ee what's at curb or at street all that I saw was a great big white spot , so I got the 2nd Gen Ring and I can see up to curb and at street just fine , cost a little more but definately worth it. Great pic !

I liked my ring so much I bought another one for my mom for Christmas since there are a lot of porch thieves nowadays Pros: -good video quality -good wide-angle -easy to set up -free to use Cons: -the battery dies kinda quick -I find it difficult to remove the cover to take out the battery

It’s been close to a year since I installed my ring, great product.. best decision.. I know when packages arrive.. video quality good, battery life far, I do suggest buying extra battery.. it take a while between charges

I bought the ring gen 1 and the video was just crap. But oh my, this gen 2 is awesome. Great video, sensor and night vision!!! I love how easy it was to install and program to use. Registered the device in 2 mins and I was done! Highly recommend it.

Very good and clear picture. Great economic option for a security camera. Very convenient being able to speak to your visitors when they ring the bell. The only thing that sometimes it doesn’t catch all motions or it will start recording at the end of the motion.
