I bought this 1 1/2 months ago and I hardwired it to a regular chime purchased in Home Depot as well as to the ring chime (so two chimes), the cámara works good and sends immediate alerts when someone at the door or when detects near motion, the quality of video is good and you can answers the alerts from either home or away from home, so far I’m happy with this product and find it very usefull, paid $3 month for cloud recording witch is great, the only cons is that takes a couple of seconds to open the app and answer, and also I purchased the ring chime just to better the video quality but really I doesn’t make any difference but the nice sounds, other Than that is great

I only installed this a week or so ago. So far it seems to be doing a good job of recording things in its view. I have to use it in the battery mode since I don't have doorbell wiring, and the battery seems to be going down faster than I thought it would. I switched it from "standard" to "Minimum" notifications to save battery power. Because of the configuration of my front door/doorstep, I had to use the wedges and had to mount it a big higher than recommended, so I don't get the full view as I'd like. But overall, I'm glad I bought it. The speech function works OK too - I can communicate with the person on the other side of the door. I had to buy the chimes since I don't have a wired doorbell - they work well if you locate them properly.

Good wireless doorbell with video capabilities. Easy to follow instructions for set-up. It can work wirelessly or with existing wires from the doorbell. We don't have wires so we had to look for a wireless option that had video due to living on the second floor of a two-family house. It provides limited security in that you have to subscribe to the Ring service if you want to archive footage. Other than that you can see it live without the subscription and talk to whoever is near the camera. Works as expected with a good wifi signal in the house. The lower the signal quality the lower the resolution. A wifi extender may be needed.

The product was easy to install. I paired it with my phone and had no issues at all. The camera/video quality is excellent. Best use is knowing when a package is delivered.

We absolutely love the Ring Video Doorbell 2. We know everyone who comes to our front door, whether they ring the doorbell or not! We can even speak to them if they do ring the bell no matter where we are.

Good quality view and sound! Easy to install! I love getting notifications before someone arrives to the door. I like that the motivations can be on several devices.

excellent product , easy to use, easy to add on other ring products, can easiely get picture on my phone and talk to the person at the door from anywhere.

It works as described and the picture quality is what they show. I am impressed. Even the app works well. It does live up to all the hype. Glad I finally purchased one.

The battery unit is very easy to set up and install. The detection range is a bit tricky to set up to prevent false detections but the video quality is great during the day.

Excellent purchase! Very easy to install, and set up. Love the ability to talk to anybody that rings the doorbell without opening the door. I have set the motion detector for about 20 feet, but a trash truck or cement mixer will still set it off.

Been having issues with delayed motion alerts. Technology is always work.

Was able to install it in 15 min after charging battery.Even though I didn’t hook it with Ring chime or my existing chime(Saved those efforts and enabled notifications in my echo and other Alexa enabled devices - that’s a lazy trick;) which worked for me) Make sure you have good wifi connectivity outside your door to get good performance , I realized major improvements in motion alerts when I upgraded my WiFi by installing a new WiFi mesh system.( you don’t need this if you already have good connectivity ) I am happy with product with peace in mind to avoid solicitors, stolen packages and improving my home security

Great Doorbell camera. I picked this up for black Friday. It connects to my home doorbell keeping the battery charged and notifies me through my phone for when I am away.

Great product to see who/what is happening at the front door. I wish there was light on the camera like the other ring devices. We had an unexpected delivery later in the evening (after dark) and it was difficult to see who was at the door, especially because they just dropped the package and left. Never rang the bell. However, I was grateful that the camera detected motion so we could retrieve the package. Additionally, even though I have narrowed the focus of the camera, it still picks up quite a bit of street traffic (our house is about 150 feet off the road). Overall, a great product!

Easy to set up and for the most part the quality of the picture is good do you have some issues with sunlight bleaching out the picture even though I'm on a covered patio.

Just a toy unless you pay for service . Video is mostly clear and I like being able to zoom live feed. Only recommend if you get full use out of it. The mount is cheap plastic and entire door bell is bigger than needed

This product is easy to install and get up and running with the ring app for your smart phone. The notifications are great and its also easy to use. This is a great product.

This is a great unit for the price and works as advertised. Provides sharp pics of whoever arrives at your door. It was very easy to install and set up and I feel was a great purchase.
