Easy to install, works GREAT. I will be cancelling my current alarm system and adding Ring’s security system and floodlights to the doorbell.

I would not recommend this product. Let me explain why. First of all the basic function of this video doorbell is security and not a gadget. You want something that you can see who and when somebody tried to enter in your home, or came close to your home. This requires video storage and access to see the notifications for a limited time, may be 24 hours. Some competitors are offering free access to videos for 48 hours. Go for that door bell. In addition, the battery charge is very slow. Whereas battery drains pretty quickly. I have to enable live view as I don't want a subscription to access video, that drains battery faster than normal mode. I am positive only limited or new homes have wired connection at the front door. Please consider this as an important factor. The features are good. Wifi connectivity is strong. Video quality is good, just good. Sensors could be improved. Overall, I won't recommend this product, until it offers free access to a video within 24 hours and then it gets deleted. You know what, people are stealing this doorbell. If no video is available then how would you know who took it. Yes, I am serious. Stealing of a product, which is meant to protect you from such things.

After numerous research, i got this good deal from BB. As usual, BB safely delivered the package. Pros: Easy to understand install instructions Plus tons of videos online to help Solid built Easily connect to smart devices in home like Alexa. Easy to setup the app mobile for alerts monitoring Video quality is good Cons: Lags in alert notifications to mobile Video also kind of delays due to sensor delays i guess Hoping to get some software upgrades to fix these technical issues.

Finally joined the rest of the world in getting a Ring doorbell. What was I waiting for ? Very easy install and great picture.

This was a Christmas gift from my parents. I was a little skeptical at first about using this device since it is always on, but I feel so much safer with it. My house was broken into years before getting this device, which was the reason why my parents got it for me. I love the alerts I get when there is movement at my front door and I love that I can look at the camera at any time I choose. I don't even mind the small monthly fee because of the tremendous benefits from this device.

I love the ability to see who is at my door. The battery lasts a long time before it needs to be recharged. So happy with its ease of use.

It was easy to install and has a good picture. Looking at adding cameras I like it so much. Only wish I would’ve bought it sooner.

Great picture. Good sound. Some settings to help with alarm and distance to avoid passing cars setting it off. App is easy to use. Had it installed and took 5 min.

Great picture quality for such a small device! Motion detector slightly sensitive but it can be set to specific preferences.

I purchase the update ring because of the rechargeable battery pack since I'm using this on my back patio door which doesn't have a doorbell. It gets you a perfect view of my back yard since my alarm camera only catches a side view of my yard. This Ring doorbell covers a large range and over to the neighbors back yard as well. I like the Pro because I dont have to waste time changing single batteries like in the old model. I order a extra rechargeable battery pack so I can swap out when other battery is charging
