I install this myself and I’ve never put in a doorbell before, I replaced an old one, super easy anyone can do it. After 30 days you can choose three dollars a month or $10 a month plan and I signed up for the three dollars because I think it’s worth it. You do not need a subscription but you won’t be able to save the video recording’s.

This doorbell does a great job. It stays charged for quite a long time. Audio & video are very good.

Love it! It covered the whole yard and street so I had to adjust it. The night photos are grey though and harder to see

I bought this as a Black Friday deal to replace my original Ring Doorbell. The Ring 2 has a higher resolution camera and is rechargeable, which is necessary for my current setup (no electricity at its location). Setup was really easy since I was replacing an older Ring in its place. I am happy with the battery life so far, but I've only had it installed about 3 weeks. I would recommend this model for anyone looking to add a little peace of mind and some light security.

We purchased the Ring 2 after getting a Ring that was defective. The Ring 2 has good video quality. There is a bit of lag connecting to live view or viewing a motion alert. Many times in a week we get the error message that there are issues connecting to our Ring. Despite the glitches and delays we are happy with it. It has good night vision and the option to talk back and forth with someone outside. Held up very well in our brutal winter. You can save videos to your phone and share them with neighbors connected to the Ring network. We pay $3 a month for our Ring subscription which isn't too bad either.

Easy to install and seems to be working fine only had for 2 weeks. Like being able to see whose at my door when away from home.

Because my wired doorbell went on the fritz i decided to go wireless. Ring 2 was the perfect choice. Not only do you get to see who's at the door but the motion detector lets me know when some one comes onto the premises before pressing the bell. Its a shame that you cannot have a parcel delivered and left on your porch like you used to, it might not be there when you get home. With Ring 2 recording movement, deliveries, guests and non guests with live video ta boot, you simply cannot go wrong.

great images, easy to operate, clear pictures. Will see how it holds up to the artic vortex but so far giving clear images.

Camera works great and the monthly subscription to maintain video is worth it in my opinion. Trying to talk through it can be a challenge. The sound is not great. It may be that the mic is too far away from the people talking. I had to install it on a wall at 90 degree angle to the door. The wedge that came with the product is not enough because i wanted better forward visibility. I purchased a wedge accessory to angle at 45 degrees. That has worked very well.

We REALLY like our Ring door bell security system . Along with Alexa it makes us feel very safe and secure in our home! My sister in law has one and this is where I got the idea to purchase one I saw how it works and wanted one so we did and we really like it we feel very safe in knowing we are protected as well as knowing who’s at the door we can ask them to wait until we get there or watch a delivery arrive if we are not home . The Ring Door Bell is Awesome!
