This is an AWESOME product!!! The video clarity is fantastic, the motion sensor is works really well and it looks extremely nice in place of my regular doorbell. I would recommend to anyone that is looking to buy one to think where your doorbell is currently. If it’s to the side of the door, you won’t get too much visibility but if it sits by the door or the doorbell faces towards the street, then you’ll definitely get all the benefits offered on this device.

This device is awesome! It was very easy to install to existing wiring. It operates excellently and I also love the feature where your neighbors can notify you of activity in the area so you can get a heads up. I got this on sale and it came bundled with the Echo device too for an extra $10 which I also love. Highly recommend this product. The monitoring service is $3/month so no horrible but if you think about it over the course of a few years will add up.

I was surprised how easy the installation was plus easy to use, & I really feel more secure knowing it's there.

I first purchased the 1st generation doorbell to try it out . Overall, I liked it and decided to upgrade to the 2nd generation doorbell and give the original to my mom-in-law. The quality of the video is definitely better and now I have it connected with my Amazon Echo Show 5. Even though there is a step by step helpful process to set up the zones and ranges, a bit of fine tuning is still needed especially if the camera faces a street. Overall, I ma happy with the purchase and the Ring annual service.

Installing was a little tricky because the holes from where the original Ring Doorbell was installed are a different width/length than the holes needed to install the Ring Doorbell 2. You will need to drill a second set of holes if you're replacing an existing video doorbell. After installation I'm very pleased with the clear HD quality of the video. The only thing left to do is figure out how to remove my old Ring from the list of devices in my Ring app.

My son's love them and since I've had a problem with porch pirates and prowler, I decided it's time I got one for myself. I will eventually get the cameras for around the outside. What a great product. This is really a funny story but true. After I bought one for my son, and he was out of town for the weekend, his live in girlfriend was actually stupid enough to invite her boyfriend over. Needless to say , she's history. Should have bought it sooner.

it's a really good camera, the only issue I have is that it's not 'always' recording, I've had other cameras that are always recording then when they sense motion they back up 5 or 6 seconds and save 30 seconds of video from that point - seems that this one doesn't start until it sees motion, and it's not like people are hanging out waiting to be recorded, sometimes it's just a glimpse of someone leaving, not the moments they took walking up to the door, so you don't get to see them - I need to adjust the motion settings, then come back and give an updated review -
