Easy to install. Works well and allows me to watch my front door. Great price. Monthly fee for cloud storage is added expense.

I had been hearing about the Ring doorbell for a while, but was finally convinced into buying it by one of my neighbors who has one. I love it! It is fairly easy to set up. The one we bought is wireless, but they do have a wired, as well. I love that it lets me know if there is someone in my yard (even if they don't actually ring the doorbell). We were so impressed with it, that we went back and bought the spotlight camera, as well. I love the Ring products!

During the beginning of the year my wife and I purchased a home. Being that we had never lived in the area and we back up to a busier road, I wanted to feel safer knowing what is going on around our home so we purchased the Ring Doorbell 2. We chose Ring due to the improved night "vision", to be able to review previous motion at our front door, and to receive notifications from the doorbell to our phones if we are not able to do to the door. Setup was rather easy as the instructions give you all the information you need to get it working. The Ring App guides you through the setup process that is fairly easy to navigate. There are some slight tweaks that you can make to customize the doorbell software itself isn't configured right out of the box. After installing the doorbell, our actual doorbell in our house started working which was a nice added bonus. The Ring camera quality is quite nice. Shortly after our move in date we both started working from home due to these unprecedented times. So when either one of us would be out front, we would talk to each other using the microphone and speaker on the device. At night we can clearly see who is coming and going, although most the traffic we get is kids and dog walkers. The only complaints I have about the device are smaller ones. The previously mentioned app is not completely user friendly. I had to spend quite some time getting the motion detection range just right so we didn't get notification from every passing car or squirrel down our street. The other complaint I have is that there is a subscription fee to be able to have your previous motion recordings saved. If you do not pay for the service you cannot go back into the app at a later time to see what motion was detected at your door. I think that kinda stinks as the whole reason to buy this is to know who is and was at your door.

Great video quality and even better battery life! We’ve had for several months and have not needed to recharge.

The Ring video doorbell is a good device but ca be temperamental. Had to try several positions (wedges) with it to see which worked the best and as a result it doesn't activate as soon as I would like. Our home faces the street (about 30 feet away) so in order for it not to go off constantly, I had to position the motion zones to cover a smaller area. Unless the person at the door speaks slowly and is close to the mic, it is hard to understand them. Not sure if it's the ring doorbell or me or both.

I saw the TV commercial and figure I would give it a try. It really works. It lets you know when there is motion and send an alert to your phone or any device you have the app downloaded on. You can also click live view and see who is knocking at your door as well you can talk through your app to the Ring doorbell. It was very easy to install didn't have any issues what so ever. Any senior that lives by themselves I would highly recommend for added security.

It came earlier than it said it would which was great. I installed it and hooked it up to my internet with no issues. We purchased this because we didn't have a doorbell where we live and this is 2 products in one. I love the video feature when someone comes to the door you can see who it is before opening the door, or you can talk to the person first. I love this product and will get more when we get our own house.

I got this so I could see when my Daughter arrived home after school. It shows me what I wanted to see and more. It lets me keep an eye on things when I am not home. I didn't need to hard wire it, which was good because I do not have access to the breaker box. It has been up for about 6 mores or more and I have not needed to charge the battery yet. All the tools I needed to install it were included. I like the app as well, easy to use.

I like the app and the video quality is pretty good. It seems to get set off when tall trucks such as a school bus or Uhaul type truck goes by.

It was easy to install. Took about 5 minutes. The only thing that I would suggest is that people who buy this is also get an additional battery. Because the one that is with it has about 1/12 charge on it. Which I found that will last about a day. And as it happens to charge it, it takes about 14 hours. Other than that I love it. And we actually caught someone who was "thinking about " taking a package off our porch the first day.

Great picture for day or night. It is sensitive and can drive a person nuts with the cell phone.

Good quality, the battery last long and I can't complain about the quality of video
