Best Buy had a great deal on these this past holiday season that I couldn't pass it up. Works just like it's supposed to. Easy install, easy set-up. Only drawback is the annual fee for monitoring but it's only $30/month so it's worth it. Only suggestion, if you are not hard wiring it, but an additional battery. Based on current usage, I calculated it would last about three months but they take all day to charge.

Great image and easy to set up. Sometimes it takes a long time to connect causing you to not be able to talk to the person at the door

I read many reviews about other models of Ring doorbells and was skeptical after hearing of similar problems in many reviews. Since this is the newest model of the product I decided to give it a try. Was just as easy to install (wired connection) as described. I have not yet experienced any of the problems reported by others.

Got this item for the house and it's has a good wide angel of the cameras But I would of like for the battery to be fully charge out of the box so I wouldn't have to wait for it to charge in my house

For what it is , it works well . The picture quality is good and the functionality seems good . I returned mine only because of one limitation. If your internet goes down, there is No on board storage to save your recording for later upload once the internet is back up . For only Twenty dollars more , I purchased a Arlo with 2 cameras and the capability to not only save in the cloud , but also to a thumb drive or external drive . And for 60-80$ more a battery backup. This will meet the need for some , just not for me.

This new version works with my existing powered doorbell much more easily. It takes the existing low power from the current doorbell and uses it to charge the battery. that way it has the needed power to run the high resolution camera and doesn't need additional power. As long as you don't run the camera all the time it has plenty of power to turn it on and off as need by the motion sensor and when someone presses the doorbell.

This Ring camera has been a nice addition for added security. The fact that it was easy to operate and install was a big plus.

We have a house that didn’t come with a doorbell. For years we tried to figure out a good solution. Then Ring became available and we noticed how many other homes had this product installed. We decided to give Ring a try and we are very glad that we did. The installation was easy— we are not particularly good at home maintenance projects. The Ring works well with our Alexa app and we now have a great way of knowing if somebody is at our door.

This is a great product. It has a nice camera with a clear picture. It is very easy to install and use.

Amazing camera good quality and the lifetime of the battery takes up to 2 weeks to recharge

This bring so much comfort, being able to look outside from my phone if I hear a noise. Seeing my kids get home from school while I'm at work (teenagers that drive). Sometimes if our internet is running slow there is a lag and I can't see the video, but that's the only problem. The Ring itself is amazing, Ring thought of everything, so easy to install, everything you could possibly need comes with it.

Nice doorbell to identify who is outside my mother's house. It has a really nice camera that shows details of the surrounding area and you can speak to someone at your door. Installation was not complicated, but we paid someone to install it. Someone with more wiring knowledge could install it themselves. We have not been able to get it to work with the home doorbell yet. It was very affordable for the quality.

Very easy to install and connect to your wifi. Video quality is great and wide range of recorded area.

First of all was on phone with a great Ring tech trying to get my "live" view to work for 3 HOURS and to no avail - turns out the firewall setting on wifi router was set to high - so after I hung I reset wifi to low and everything worked. I've messed with settings so cars to set off alerts and it always goes back to default for some reason. I also have to turn off and reset my phone every now & then for it to work off phone - must clog my cache ??? Other than that works as designed -

Easy self installment or you could even buy the installation service from Best Buy. I love this doorbell and I wish I would’ve gotten one earlier. The app has a neighborhood alert feature that allows for updates by the news teams, your local police, and of course your neighbors who also have a ring doorbell. Also a great safety feature without having to even get an alarm! (Ring does offer an alarm as well)

I love this doorbell. I added the chime for indoor sound too, making this system even better. I prefer the battery option since I do not have a wired doorbell to attach the Pro model to. The fact that it comes with all of the extra pieces to tailor the setup to your particular scenario is great. Set up was unbelievably easy. The battery does take a while to charge, I left mine over night. So far it is working great

Set up in minutes. Great picture quality and great price. I use this in combination with 4 spotlights.
