The Ring Doorbell 2 is a fantastic product ensuring that you know who is at your door, when someone is at your door, and what they are doing there. The ability to speak to a person before answering your door provides security and the mere presence of the Ring provides a deterrent effect. Can’t recommend it highly enough and high praise for the Geek Squad for an excellent quick installation and good instruction on use!!

good camera. not much lag between the camera and phone via the ring app. they include a few weeks of free recording via ring service but after the free trial if you want to keep your video recordings it comes with a price. im only using this as a door bell that i can speak through and have other security cameras in place so the monthly subscription isnt for me. decent device for the home

Pros: Good Camera, nice view, clarity is also good. Cons: When you want to talk to camera using alexa / google, it will take so much of time to load (some times it will not load at all), by the time we connect to the camera, whoever ring the bell might have left or you could not even know what was the motion alert is for unless you have paid subscription, its just a costly camera outside of your home. I would recommend it with the caveat to prepare for subscription.

Good product, so far. The only real problem I have is setting up the "Zones." No matter how I use the "Wizard" to help me set it up I still get all kinds of false motion alerts from traffic going by. I will continue to adjust the mounting to see if I can resolve the issue. On the upside, while out of the country on vacation I was still able to see what was going on, and when someone came to the door. Overall I would say it is going to make us feel a lot more secure.

My wife and I love our Ring doorbell. Video quality is amazing. Self installation was too easy.

The camera is so clear and I love that the battery does not run out so fast!

This is a VERY handy item to have, especially for a person who lives alone and the elderly who can't make it to the door very fast. It allows you to talk to the person ringing the doorbell without opening the door. It even allows you to see who it is if you are not at home. I even talked to a neighbor who was dropping something off, from 20 miles away, using the app on my cell phone! Easy to install, if you can handle a drill.

I love the fact that I can easily monitor the front door utilizing my ring doorbell. Video quality is great on most occasions but there are times where the video is a little pixelated. The camera can be triggered by someone hitting the doorbell button and/or motion detection. It meets our needs but it would be better if I didn’t encounter WiFi signal issues (don’t believe it to be related to this product but I’m not too sure who is to blame...the doorbell or my WiFi setup). Overall happy with it and I would recommend it.

This doorbell works great. I was surprised at how helpful it actually is to see what's going on at my door when I'm not home. I only wish it would detect people walking up from the side walk better. Since my door faces a street I had to lower the detection area so it would stop picking up every car that passes by. So now it notifies me when someone has already been at my door for a few seconds. But still overall, great.

Excellent camera for beginners make sure you buy an extra battery if not connected to electricity

The ring video doorbell was easy to install and I was surprised with the video quality. Love it so far.

I love all the great features. Seeing who is at your door, being able to talk to them and have them talk back to you. The added security the motion sensor provides when your bot home is awesome especially when you have packages delivered. The only issue I have had with it is getting the snooze to work properly and I am still working g on getting just the right adjustment so the cars passing by won't keep setting off the motion sensor. Otherwise I highly recommend it.
