The Ring Doorbell camera works pretty good but it's a little bulky and really sticks out from the wall.

Simple plug and play operation. Easy to use and very high quality. Nice product over all.

I would not recommend this model for anyone that has the ability/availability to direct wire into an existing doorbell. The motion zones are too restricted for this model. There are 3 zones which you CAN turn on/off, BUT you can not adjust each zone individually as to how far out you want each zone to detect motion. This creates a big issue when your doorbell is facing a street, but you would like to detect motion on your front sidewalk that is coming from the side of your house. Someone is already ringing my doorbell before this doorbell detects any motion. By the time I get a notification and can pull it up on my phone, the delivery person is already heading down the street. Another issue with this model is the poor Wi-Fi technology/reception. Even with an Orbi mesh system, 100mps service, and very strong signal strength 10 ft from the main router this unit claims poor signal. I do not have this problem with any other device when standing in the exact same location. I wish I would have spent the extra $50 and got the pro to avoid some of these issues...

I set up the Ring in the same location as my prior doorbell and total setup time was less than 15 minutes. Images are sharp and clear, and the audio is also high quality. I have a Google WiFi close to the doorbell so I have not had any connection issues. Any recorded event is usually available for viewing within 30 seconds of the notification. No lag or delay in communicating with visitors using the Ring. Highly recommend.

Deciding between this and the Pro. When it comes to home security, I think it's best that the item is large and obvious so that intruders think twice before trying something funny.

We own several of these Ring cameras and other accessories. They are worth every penny! I recommend these to anyone looking for outdoor security, these perform exactly as described.

The hardest part was waiting for it to charge so I could install it! I am impressed with the range of view it has and also how long the battery lasted for. (Almost a month on the first charge) The extra monitoring was pretty reasonable also in my opinion. Having the ring community feed I thought was pretty great as well just to know what’s going on in the neighborhood with other ring owners.

Great product while made but I think it would be easily stolen form front door if some wanted to. But I love how you can adjust the sensitivity and when you want it get an alert. I have answered the door from work and people seam to hear me ok. The picture quality is good. Only thing is it runs on wifi so make sure you have a good signal. But I think this is a great product to have, money well spent. It's. If you ordered online a lot this is a must have. Being able to watch your items once delivered is great

Excellent video door bell with great quality and ease of use

This thing took longer than I expected to install and connect to the Echo Show 5. Have had trouble keeping it connected and running for a month or so. Then everything seemed to fall into place. It proved it's worth two weeks ago when it alerted us to someone at the door, looked and had to chase away two teenagers in the yard. Reviewed the stored video the next day and there they were, easy to ID by the video. Now, it's a keeper
