A Fine Start to Doorbell Cameras

Cons: - For some reason, when I decided not to sign up for the subscription, Ring and Rapid Ring app fails to connect to Ring 4/5 times. When I did have the sub, connecting was a non-issue. - Delay vídeo and audio. - Too bulky and a pretty ugly design.

Gift for my mom

She works for the city so she has to live in a certain neighborhood that I do not particularly like and she lives alone so this makes me feel a little bit better. Great with security she can see what’s going on when she’s at work and she travels so it allows her to see everything that’s going on when she’s away.

Could be better

It doesn't pick up some of the motion it should but still better than having nothing. Love that I can actually talk to the person on my porch vs having to go down the stairs. A huge con is that you have to pay for a subscription in order to continue to view recorded past motions. Paid enough for the item itself but kinda messed up to have to pay to view the videos.

Love the Ring 2 - easy to set up

The Chime does not like 5ghz. Only issue is it does not connect fast enough to answer the door - that is very frustrating and everyone I have talked to has the same issue -so don't let them blame your network! Ring needs to fix it's software. Ring also does not have good support. It is a shame a good product has bad support.

First camera I’ve ever had!

Took about a week to get the motion sensor right, but I did. It’s absolutely great to be able to see out your door whether you’re there or not! Never knew what I was missing! Don’t hesitate to buy. I’m thinking of adding camera spotlight on back of the house too!
