I luv it. I just need to purchase a solar battery. Regular battery do not last a long time. It will be over bearing if I have to keep charging. I also purchase a back up battery. That’s the only problem o have. I am amazed with incident that occur in my neighborhood. I luv that it prompts me about the incidents.

Our home did not come with a doorbell before entering our gate that lead to our front door. Therefore, we never knew if someone was at our residence. Example: friends, family, neighbors, delivery ect. The RING definitely helped us with this issue by allowing us to see and speak to whoever shows up on our property. Plus the cost of wiring a simple doorbell would of cost double of what we paid for the RING.

Easy to install and set up! Price was fair. Battery life decent.

The Ring Video Door bell has some of the greatest commercials on TV, I have ever seen. I figured it was all hype. It was not. Not only does it do what the commercials say, it does so much more. Please, Best Buy had them on sale as well as for $10.00 more I was able to get the litter wireless screen. I am very happy.

Really like the Ring. Need to have great Wifi for this to work well. I recommend even with strong signal to get Chime Pro, works better with it.

Overall I like the Ring doorbell, with one exception: It starts recording video too late when it detects motion, so by the time someone drops off a package at the door (or steals one!), you can only see their backs. When you get notified of an event, it's almost too late. Further more, during the day, when it starts recording, the recording starts with a whited out screen and slowly dims to normal light. An improvement would be if the camera was constantly recording to its memory so when it actually detects motion, it can go back a few seconds to show the entire video. I have set the motion detection to include the street now, so I also get notified when a car drives by (which basically shows just an empty street, because it already happened when it started recording), but hopefully it will detect motion when someone walks up my walkway so I can see them coming and not just going. Last but not least, once the trial period is over, you have to pay $30//year if you want to see more than just live-view, so it's not a free service if you really want to use it.

The ring doorbell is everything I wanted and more. I just wanted to be notified when someone was at my door. Now I can view also which is great.
