The setup is really easy. The longest part was waiting for the battery to charge. I would recommend purchasing an additional battery. Of all the components I purchased the battery in the doorbell drains the quickest. Other than that I’d recommend this doorbell. The night vision footage is just as good as daylight images. Overall I like the product.

I love the Ring -Video Doorbell 2. The installation took less than 30 minutes, including programming. The settings on the motion detector enabled me to see only people coming up the sidewalk and ignore all the cars passing by on the street. I am considering getting one for our back door also.

It's very simple to install. I believe it took my like 30min. The app is easy to use as well. I'm not sure if they still do it, but they gave us a free trial to view past activity (a DVR for the recordings). I didn't keep it, but I might get it later. Haven't had any problems yet.

Bought the Ring door bell during the black friday sale at such a low price! It came with a free amazon echo dot also. I installed it and it works great!! I actually referred a few others who also bought it during the deal. I do get a lot of false motion and I cant figure out what its from but I can live with it.

We received this product as a gift and it's helped bring our home into the 21st century. It's great to know when people have walked to the door, packages are delivered, or if we want to break from Game of Thrones to answer a solicitation. Installation was extremely simple, knocked it out in less than 30 mins.

I love this gadget. It lets me see everytime someone comes close to my door or when someone rings my doorbell. I can chat with that person if I need to. I love it. I am never home much anymore. It was such a great buy. It makes me feel secured and safe. I know whos coming in and out of my house at what time etc.

If you do not want to install a full camera system or you want to be able to talk to a person at the door and don't have an intercom or one that lets you speak remotely, this is the best solution! Easy to use. I am not sure about the annual storage subscription or alternatives, but the concept is good in theory.

Love the ring. The pictures are clear of the people at the door. My dad is now getting one for his house. Great purchase. Adding a person to view can be tricky. Only draw back is if you are not tje "owner" you can't just hit the ring app and look through videos. Can only do it through notifications.

Great video sound and coverage easy to setup and use with app

The quality and sound is great. I was going to buy the nest but my friends have the ring and said great things about it. I like that the cops can connect to the ring as well as having their own community. I have a terrible neighbors and I needed a camera for proof. Definitely great investment.

I had been researching cameras for awhile. I didn’t want to spend a ton and I needed something that had a battery as I had no way to wire it. This was easy to set up, works great and I feel so much better leaving my home unattended as we’ve had a few issues in the area. I will be purchasing another

Glad I made this purchase. It's a very simple and practical way to have some additional security. The ability to access videos or view live is quite easy. You also receive messages from other local Ring members in your area regarding potential security concerns.

I was surprised at how easy the installation was, Ring includes everything you need to install the doorbell and I didn't have any issues. Software setup using the Ring app was also very smooth with no glitches. We like the product, the only negative is having to pay $30/year for being able to keep the videos.

This functions more as a security camera for the front of our house. It's great it lets you know when there is motion outside of your front door and you can see through your phone who or what is there. It's a little sensitive so we can a lot of alerts when leaves are blowing though our yard but still worth it.
