Everyone notices the doorbell which is good. Love being able to see who is at the door when I'm in the basement or other end if the house. Alexa integration is excellent. Wish it worked with Google Home Hub. Only 4 stars because I wish it had an option to consistently record and not just when it see motion. Yearly fee is much better then Nest

My husband loves this thing. We are an older couple living in the country and this was a way to monitor the activity going on around us. No wiring needed so was fairly easy to install with a little help from a friend who said he was going to get one after seeing how easy it was to install..

It was easy install and great quality picture/video.

Bought two of the ring 1ver last year for my neighbor and they have been awesome! She asked me to find a solution for her friend so she could monitor her porch. I always go big with Lorex for my stuff, but after talking to her realized something more simple was the way to go. She had ADT out to update her alarm and was told by them that the House WiFi for their door bell was not strong enough. They offered to install a ring 1 with a very hefty price tag. She obviously declined and ended up with me, purchased on Black Friday at a great price. Set it up and gave her a demo and she was ready to rock and roll. So far she has had a few quirks, but just like any product that has so many things that it does at one time there always will be the few ocassional quirks. My only complaint about this version and the first version is that they should both include an adapter to allow you to run a wire to a plug for those who do not have a wired door bell. Fortunately I found a good deal on a third party adapter other places.

Installation is straightforward. I chose the wired option and it functions well with my existing ringer. Only drawback, the video for someone at the door is not always immediately available. You get a notification immediately but the video doesn't show up until a few minutes later. I've read others have had the same problem.

The Ring doorbell is great. The picture quality is surprisingly good. And the sensitivity is good as well (almost too good!) We compared quite a few systems and are happy we went with Ring. We’ve subsequently purchased the security system to supplement the doorbell and are happy so far.

The video quality, even at night, is great. I like the easy to set up controls for motion sensors, etc. The main reason I wanted it was just to deter some thief from thinking my house is an easy mark. As you walk up you can easily see the Ring and you know you are on video.

I upgraded my ring to this one from the 1st generation, and I love it in all ways picture, sound, clearness is PERFECT! I highly recommended it! So easy with just a click you can see what’s going on and see who’s at your door when they ring your ring.

Ring doorbell has really good quality video and sound. The app also has a feature that allows other ring customers to communicate annonymously with nearby Ring customers in case you want to warn of something suspicious that you see on your camera.

Ring doorbell 2 is very cool and have HD signal even night vision like night hawk . Easy to follow steps to set up doorbell 2 and smartphone like iPhone . Also set up hue light bulb to make it flash when press doorbell button to alert us through another app. Love it.

I really like the Melodic Tone it makes when anyone approaches my front yard, driveway or front door. I can be working in my closed garage and instantly know if anything or anyone has come within the “broad view” that the camera scans. It gives me a very high sense of comfort and security.

After installing the Ring doorbell, I was amazed at how many people actually were walking up my sidewalk and into my porch area without ringing the doorbell. But now when they do, I can see them. Even if I'm at work or across the country. I've recommended it to all my relatives and friends.

Responds well to callers; motion detection is not great (still tweaking settings), but not bad. Video recording using Ring's paid service is pretty decent. Was hoping that its motion detection for moving objects 20-30 feet away would be good, but not really. Still, highly recommended considering your bang for your buck.

Helps keep track of door visitors and also works as a security cam for the front door. The 2way calling is great. You only get 30 days of free service. After that if you want to save the videos on the cloud you will have to subscribe to a monthly or annual plan.

There's times that it catches a car driving by, however is at the same distance some is walking by, it won't catch that! Overall it's a good gadget. Must buy plan, sales rep said you only need it to buy it if you wanted 24+ recording, however that's incorrect, there's absolutely no recording after trial is expired, just a live view.

It’s nice to be able to see what’s going on outside your door. It’s not so fun to have your phone blow up with every passing person especially when your neighbors walk their dogs 10 times a day but, still it gives some piece of mind. My one huge complaint and the one reason I would have a difficult time recommending is that more often than not, the videos disappear. I have gaps in my daily timeline that should have recordings but, they just aren’t there. I paid the extra fee that they don’t really mention to store my videos in the cloud. However, that hasn’t taken care of the problem. I have upgraded my modem and router to give a better signal and, this still hasn’t taken care of the issue. So if you truly have a problem, you may not actually have a recording you can actually show to anyone else or ever see yourself. So what are you really paying for?

High quality functional camera and easy to install.

I love my ring, this is a great product and it goes off whenever someone comes to my door. I like that I can pair it with all of my alexas and that I can look to see who is at my door on the ring app. This is a great product. The delivery was very fast as well.
