I got it because someone stole a package off my porch last Nov. It was easy to put up. I didn't already have a doorbell so I got the battery one. I recently bought the solar for it to save on charging the battery. It's best to get another battery for a spare. The video is great.

If you have spotty wifi this isn't for you. I like it, but maybe it's my building... Wifi is hit or miss. I really really like when it does work!

this product is provides a clear videp out put with good sound. i highly recommend it tpo provide great advance security to the property. Along with other members participation I like it a lot to find out whats going on in the area. good sound system 7& inexpensive $ 30 annual archive fee.

I feel more secure with this doorbell, although it takes too long to allow me to speak to whoever is there. Its a pain to have to unscrew the cover if you need to change your wireless settings. They added a mode where I can disable it while my lawn is being mowed so its not going off like crazy.

Would definitely buy again! Great video and picture quality. Motion sensing works great as well. The only drawback is the battery life if you don’t hardwire. It would be ideal to buy a second battery for back up. Ring says that battery should last up to 6 months, but that hasn’t been the case. Overall, still a great item.

We have security cameras throughout the home and on the outside, but this was one of the best buys we've made when it comes to security. We love the app on our phones. My children and I can see who it is and talk to them before we even go to the door. Everyone should have one on their homes.

Have one at my other house so got another one for my new house. Works like a charm. Only complaint is the motion sensor seems to pick up random stuff even though there isn’t any motion when I look back at the footage...it’s not all the time so no big deal. Got an amazing deal/combo with purchase so it was a no brainer

i think the picture quality is very good but it is not compatible with upgraded Spectrum internet service

So far I really like this product... the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it seems as though the motion sensor part of the product lags... sometimes we would get notificatioms that theres motion at our front door but when we press to check.... nothing.... probably was a csr or someone that passed by.... would be better if it was exact real-time

I like this doorbell camera, but for whatever reason I can't get the settings to detect people when they are in my yard unless they are right up by my door. Also it records random cars that drive down my street on some days, but not others. Totally blows through the battery on useless stuff. Wish I could figure out these settings.

Excellent purchase ! Ring door bell is good to attend and interact visitors at your door. It only sucks to pay yearly subscription fee of $30. It is easy to install and connect to wifi in under 10-15 mins. I'm writing this review after 2 years of usage.

The Camera is great! It was very easy to install and the Quality of the picture is excelent! Rating it 4 stars because the battery doesn't last very long. I charged it overnight right out of the box, used it for a week and a half, and the battery was already running low. Was expecting more than 2 weeks on battery life.

The live view sucks and only works about half of the time(not when you need it). The battery life sucks. I bought a new router to make sure it wasn't me. I'm Super disappointed. I even made a custom corner mount out of wood with my two hands. In the end I think I would recommend just buying a security camera and skip the doorbell.

This door bell has been amazing. Been able to keep track of deliveries and any visitors I may not have been expecting. Night vision has been pretty decent for what this is. easy to set up and get going. if you do not get good signal, i would recommend a wifi extender.

Great product, especially if it's hardwired and you don't need to worry about the battery dying. The live stream takes a few seconds to load, and it would be nice if Ring could provide some cloud storage for events (even 1-3 days would be nice). Installation was also really quick and easy, and for the price, definitely recommend the product.

Installed 2 of these and works really well, video capture is pretty clear. Security zone setup is limited. Battery life is good. The Intercom function does not work that great, people outside cannot really hear me but I can hear them just fine. Sometimes hard to connect with realtime video when someone walks through a zone.

I opted to have it professionally installed. The service technician was able to do this in 45 minutes. Did not take long at all. It was easy connecting to my wifi network and worked immediately upon installation. The images/videos are crisp and clear. Response is quick which allows me to quickly interact with whomever is at the door via my phone.

I have wanted a ring doorbell for quite some time. I finally purchased one. Absolutely love it. Helps me keep an eye out on my vacation home when i am gone. Love it so much purchased additional ring for back door and have it angled so i get an incidental view of the mountains as an added benefit.

We'd been looking at various wireless security camera options, and the Ring seemed like a good bet; easy to set up and easy to use. And it was. The only downside is the Ring Software. If we're away, and we receive a notice about motion at the front door, the person could be home and tucked into bed before the video comes up on our phones.
