The ring is the perfect security item for my family. We recently changed apartments and Ring was a key strategic tool to help us keep an eye on our belongings and on eachother wherever we happened to be and it was easy to swap between personal networks between locations on the fly.

So far I love this. It's great when I am upstairs and want to see who is at the door. It's usually ups or the mailman. You can also see whats going on in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend! My husband set it up pretty quickly too. The video is very clear too.

I like the Ring product for they offer the battery model (video doorbell 2). This was important as the hard wires were not working properly in the location where I wanted it. It was easy to set up, as are all the Ring products. I only wish that Ring set up their system, where they record 24/7, like the Nest products do.

The doorbell is easy to install. Uses existing wiring which was connected to my doorbell. My door is a solid door which meant I had to open the door to see who was there. now I can see who is at my door without opening door. Also it looks better than my old doorbell.

I love my Ring Doorbell 2. At first it was not working well it would take a long time to load. But the problem was my 13 year old router. I purchased a new one at Best Buy and now It's working great. Now I can see who's at my front door. Love it!

I like having this, it was an easy install and the Ring app helps guide you through everything. The drill bit that comes with this dulled after the first hole drilling into the brick so I had to buy a masonry bit to finish the install. I don’t like that the doorbell beeps when I go into live view otherwise it’s a great product.

Love this, so easy to set up and also lets you see who's at your door and can talk to them when your not even home. I never knew how many people were at my house until I got one of these, Wish I had gotten one sooner and think I will buy another one to see more area of my yard

It does exactly what it should and works well. Configuringnto avoid false senses of car activity more than 30' away was a bit tougher than expected, but adds piece if mind, which is what we wanted. Buy an extra battery pack as they take a really long time to charge. Our seems to last about a month and a half between charges.

We had the early version of the Ring Doorbell and liked it. The battery ran too low too many times and needed replacement. This newer version has a removable battery that will make maintenance easy. It has other improvements too. We like it and recommend it.

Easy to install: camera extremely clear: good value

It gets the job, but is very sensitive and there by aggravating. The minor draw back is $30 a year for cloud usage or $100 for pro monitoring which is far better than my current 520 per year. I would advise against battery cams in very busy areas they only last about 2 to 3 weeks, so I ordered a solar charger. $50

I absolutely love my Ring Video Doorbell 2 camera. I'm able to work long hours and be able to see who comes to my door. I've been able to see those lazy Amazon delivery drivers through my packages by my door and file a compliant.

I bought my Ring for myself as an Xmas gift it was very easy to set up and install. I wound up buying the chime since I didn’t have a doorbell (which you don’t need) so I can hear the chimes throughout my home. So far I’m very pleased with my purchase and feel more secure in my home.

Great video doorbell. Works well as long as the doorbell is sufficiently charged. If the battery gets low, then it doesn’t want to connect.

Nice way to watch your front door activities. Always excited to see when some one came across front door and got motion alert. Pleasure to use when we are not at home and some mail delivery happened. Great to have Clear video backup with front door activities.

I was looking at this device for a while and saw it on sale with a free Echo Dot 3. So i went ahead and got it. Setup was easy. I have a few issues with this item. The motion sensor catches cars driving by even though i have my depth set to not reach anywhere near the road. The Sound when i am talking to people that are at the door is horrible. Just cracks and they cant hear anything i say. Though i hear them fine. The camera also has a weird color situation that occurs occasionally that would make it difficult to see someone. Ad finally there have been many times i tried to connect to answer the door bell and it says it cant connect. Which completely defeats the purpose of teh device. Internet connection is good. I have to back out of the app and reconnect a different way t the camera and then it works. By then the person is gone. I am going to take it back and try and swap it out and hope it was just i got a bad one.

The Ring2 was very easy for me to install.I installed it where the old door bell was located. It is lower than suggested but it picks up the faces very well of the people coming up the stairs. The Ring2 has notified me of people coming up the walk before they even ring the door bell

Even without the chimes, I hooked this up to my phone as well as my Alexa devices and it works great. Easy install. Doesn't look all that secure but I don't see a lot of reports of these being stolen. The subscription feature looks like its good but simply not worth it for me as my neighborhood is fairly safe.

I love the video feature and playback. Sensors almost work too well. If a big truck goes by it activates the doorbell and you get notified on all connected devices. Good home security and there is a feature that you can see what activity neighbors have reported. Great product

This newer Ring doorbell has interchangeable batteries so when one dies the other is fully charged and waiting to be plugged in. There is no downtime while waiting several hours to recharge the battery as in the original Ring. And it seems like the battery lasts longer too.
