I had the ring 1 for five years and I loved it. Sadly I had my house power washed and it shorted out because it was not covered or removed. Luckily I bought the ring 2 and it has a lot of new devices for installing and a clear picture. Have given one as a gift!

Our doorbell needed to be replaced, we decided on the ring 2 for the added security and features. It's great when you are not home but can still answer the doorbell. The only drawback is with the battery option is that the ring 2 can't run on only on the power supplied by the previous doorbell. It needs to have the battery in place in order to work.

We had a recent spree of creepy people breaking into our car, pounding on our door at 2 am and trying to greakninti our house. Wish I would have had this camera at those times. It was easy to install and the video pictures are clear even at night. I would highly recommend it!

The install was easy, just tied into the old doorbell power but set up took a little bit of time. Once it was set up works great. Before buying watch some review videos on youtube to get a good idea of what to expect, how to set up and how the ring works.

Love the way it works. The only thing is that the way the manual is if you have to use the wedges as I had too it does not got into detail of what screws to use. But solid security for your home also love the Alexa integration to allow you to know when someone is at the door.

I purchased this for my parents. I would of liked to have the zoning options as I have with the Ring Pro. It doesn’t always catch movement the way I would like but it’s enough for my parents. My dad loves answering the rings on his phone. I would recommend but if you can spend a few more dollars go with the pro.

Ring doorbell gives a clear view of my front door and the sound is also clear and easily understood. Will be a great safety and convenience factor. I really like the soft chimes sound that is the alert for door activity - easily recognized but not obtrusive.

I use it for my doorbell. It was easy to set up. It was challenging charging the ring doorbell. It was hard to change the batteries and to keep it fully charged. I finally wired it to the electricity and it works a lot better.

I bought this for my Dad. My sister has one and she loves it. Dad is in his eighties and pretty techie. I hope he likes it. GO Dad

The camera quality is great. Sensors are pretty broad and there’s a way to adjust up to where the sensors can reach since my house is in front of a popular intersection I adjusted the sensors so that I don’t get a notification every time a car came by my house

I had the original ring doorbell and the biggest drawback was having to remove it and bring it inside to recharge it. The new one has a removable battery and I bought a spare so now I just swap them out. The notification about a low/dead battery is still not 100% so that would be the biggest change I’d like to see.

Ring video doorbell was very easy to install. I now have two ring doorbells installed on front and back doors. Both perform as expected with motion and doorbell alerts. The video quality could be better. I would recommend this product. It definitely help with alerting me when mail and packages arrive.

If you don't already have a Ring, this is the one to get. The install couldn't be easier and it has a replaceable/rechargeable battery. I put this outside on my garage so I could see people coming down my driveway before they get to my front door.

Great doorbell camera. Easy installation. Wish it came with more options for mounting. I have mine mounted and the brick for my home sits right next to the doorbell camera. Well half of the camera is blocked due to the brick. Would’ve been better if there were more ways to bring it off the wall more.

I love this product!!! I feel safe for sure. My husband works in the oil field and I’m home alone for the most part and this makes me feel safe and secure and can watch whoever might be lurking around my house. I cannot wait to get the other Ring products.

We bought this for my in laws for Christmas and they love it. It has such a great picture. It allows you to see who is at your home when you are or are not there. It was so easy to hook up my father in law did it himself. Just gives you piece of mind.

This works superb. I wish I had bought it long ago. Even for things like when I am on vacation, I can see whether the newspaper guy accidently delivered the paper so I can text a neighbor to put it in my mailbox. Quality is great. Love it
