Bought this because I wanted to have my doorbell ring on my Amazon Echo show when somebody rang the doorbell BUT you actually have to initiate the doorbell from Alexa to see whos there. Installation was quick and easy and the interaction with my phone is good if not a little bity of a lag.

Comes with ton of customizations, Full HD recordings and Amazon echo show integration, enjoy hands free access to your front door with live view and live conversations. Some draw backs are not fully integrated with Google Smart devices which I was mislead with best buy sales rep.

The best safety investment ever made. We took the cheaper 720p model back and bought this version. Truly a better move on our part. This has helped a lot and it’s definitely worth it now since Covid happened .

This was very simple to install. I don't have a wired doorbell and was waiting for something like this. I was hoping Nest was going to put one out as our alarm system is Nest but they didn't so I decided to purchase this and I am very happy with it.

I gave these to my adult children for their homes as a Christmas gift. They are very pleased with them and like the added security of knowing when someone is at your door or in your driveway when away from home. Works well when packages are delivered.

I had no way to easily run a power line to my front door. Also there was no existing door bell to hook up to. This Ring battery operated video doorbell was the perfect solution. And Ring’s surprisingly easy set up was a big plus for me.

My ring doorbell allows me to know who is at my house, communicate when I don’t want to or am not home to get to the door and I love the recording feature. I feel safe having this and there is no price point value you can give to having peace of mind.

With each RING notification that there is someone near our front door, I am always impressed with the quality of the camera, the bright colors and definition. When there is a breeze, I can see our small garden flags flutter.

Working on getting it installed on the outside, as we did not previously have a doorbell. However, we have used it inside as a security camera and are very impressed. We will be getting it placed shortly and the battery performs well.

Works well. At home or not it give you a good idea what happens at your front door. This is easy to install and helps you to understand what happens while your away. Other feature will notify you what happen in your neighborhood.

I’ve had a good experience so far. Motion notifications are instant. You can silence the alerts on your phone for a short time if you have a lot traffic in and out some days. The videos are clear. The Ring app is pretty nice as well.

This item was purchased as a gift for an annual holiday party. The recipient loved it.

The Ring works very well; as advertised. It detects all motion near the front door. Since we have small windows next to the door it is more useful for package delivery security than anything else. I'm alerted on my cell phone (and Alexa) when there is motion at the door. Keep in mind that recorded video is only available if you pay a monthly fee (beyond the initial month of free video storage). So unless you are able to access the live feed immediately at the time of the detected motion, you may not be able to see who was at the door when the motion was initially detected. Another thing to be aware of is that all motion will be detected, even your own if you are working outside near the door or if you hang a wreath on the door with a ribbon that blows in the wind. I've found Ring's customer service to be very responsive and helpful. They seem to go out of their way to assist. I highly recommend contacting via the phone vs. chat or email as chat or email agents may not fully understand the issue being experienced.

Great product, the only thing that kinda bugs me is the motion detecting settings. It seems the lower I put it for some reason it still senses in the same area. Also it talks about the battery lasting 6-12 months. It's only been about 1 month and the battery is already at 30%.

The picture is good quality but there is a noticeable fish eye lens effect. There is the option to zoom in a little bit also. It took me a couple of tries to get the alert zones and sensitivity adjusted so I did not get alerts every time a car drove by. It works as described

Great doorbell and does what I expected for the most part. Not sure if it's my wifi but there are multiple times where the notifications are significantly delayed. Not happy about that, sometimes it catches cars driving by but not people walking up

I absolutely love my Ring doorbell 2. It has a clear view as if in HD mode. I like being able to record and/ it go live at any given time. I also like being able to share or see shared events by other Ring Doorbell users in the area. Also the fact that it's interactive with people who post.

My free 30 days isn't up yet, but so far I like it. I'm not sure what goes away in the app once the 30 days is up.

I love how you can set it up for different zones and turn off others. You can set it to alert you for motion or if someone rings the doorbell. So far I have had no issues and the set up was really straight forward and easy.
